Hair Is Important is the (IMHO, lame ass) phrase that was used to end every episode of the latest season of this show that just finished airing new eps. Do you know who it is? That’s right, it’s Matthew McConaughey‘s babymama Camila Alves. Camila hosted the newest season of Bravo TV‘s Shear Genius and she, apparently, came up with this dumb phrase that she used to end every episode. While I enjoyed the season of Shear Genius (because of the stylists, NOT the hosting/judging team), I found Camila to be a terrible host. Her thick accent was difficult to understand and I found her qualifications to judge hair styling dubious at best. This new season added celebrity hair stylist Jonathan Antin as a main judge and his a-hole demeanor almost made me not want to watch the show. I wish the folks at Bravo would bring back original host (and former Charlie’s Angels star) Jaclyn Smith, original judge Sally Hershberger and original mentor Rene Fris. They made a great hosting team for the show … Camila, Jonathan and Orlando Pita just didn’t do it for me. I’m guessing that if Camila is walking around in this shirt, she’s either letting us know that she will be back to host again OR she is lobbying Bravo to bring her back. I hope Bravo comes to its senses and brings back the original team … then I’d surely watch the show again :D

Yeah..It was fun to see what the stylists could bust out, but Camila was painful to watch..Brig was an effing joke..I can’t believe she won..It was like, let me come up with the ugliest hairstyle possible and win!! It was down to the WonderTwins for me and I think Matthew did a better job in the final challenge..Instead they chose that total dork! Ick..

Yes, her catch phrase was stupid. Jonathan is intolerable but he was SO right about Brigg in the finale – she was awful throughout the entire show but what she did in the finale…that wasn’t hair. I still can’t believe she got away with some of her antics (i.e. the way she talked to Linda Wells and when she butchered that one girl’s hair and it looked beyond awful and she looked like she was going to cry :().
I won’t watch this show ever again simply because Brigg won. She shouldn’t have made it beyond the early rounds!
Speaking of Bravo, does anyone else want to see a second season of Kell on Earth?

I saw her on The Bonnie Hunt show and she got on my nerves right away! I can’t stand her or her hosting. Her thick accent is hard to comprehend and she isn’t even really that pretty. I mean, what does Matt see in her? Pffffffffffffffffft.
@Jennifer- I’m so glad I’m not the only one who is swearing off this show now! Brig was so horrible. For the last 2 challenges she didn’t do hair! How in the hell did they let her win? Ugh… and Camila was so bad…. Had the original team still been there Brig never would have won

YOU are right on! I only watched the first episode and the last! I couldn’t watch with the new team! Awful and this was one of my favorite reality shows! Bring back Team Jaclyn! Please!!!!!!!
Worst phrase ever. And her as a host was soooooo painful. Her voice just grates. And she talks so freaking slow and like she has to sound out each word. I love accents but something about hers and the way she talks I couldn’t deal with.
Brig should NOT have won. She should have been eliminated early on.

I watched her show for the first time last week and she is just DREADFUL as a host. She tries so hard to articulate every word that she ends up speaking so slowly. And what is with that dumb catchphrase?
brig won?! uGH! i get a job and i miss all my daytime reruns! :P brig sucked! matthew was good the entire show, i would be uber pissed if i were him. i think camila sucks as a host..i cannot understand her, and that ‘catch phrase’ shouldn’t even be considered one, because it ain’t catchy!
I don’t know anything about the show. But dang, she really needs to rethink wearing those pants ever again!
Kim Vo definitely needs fired for supporting Brigg, that really annoyed me too.
Oh well, I’ll never watch it again…
