Oh yeah, it would take a lot to get me to haul my cookies out to the desert to partake in a 3-day music festival like this and, I’m afraid, this line-up ain’t the kind to get me to go. I almost went the year that Prince headlined one of the nights but even that wasn’t enough to tempt me out to the desert. In any event, I’m certain that a large number of people will make their way out to Indio, CA for this year’s fest and will have a spectacular time. Are any of y’all planning to attend the Coachella Festival this year?

I’m definitely tempted to go Saturday and Sunday..Faith No More?? Eff yes!! The Gorillaz?? Double eff yes!! I just have to figure out if I really want to do Coachella again..I went for the first few years and saw the crowds change from super mellow and friendly people to douchebag frat dicks and skanky chicks..Ugh..

  2. Kendra

Awww..I just noticed Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros on Saturday! They’re great! Though this better be a one off show since the lead singer needs to be focusing on his other band, Ima Robot!! :)

  3. CB

I saw some of these same bands at ACL in October. I have to say, Them Crooked Vultures was the most hyped and most disappointing band there. Here’s hoping they have some better rehearsed songs for the Coachella crowd.
Passion Pit was the effing bomb, though!

r u JOKING this lineup blowwssss away last year. but, im broke :(

  5. nette

    Holy shit.
I swear they just lifted my entire iTunes library and put it in the lineup.
AAAAAAAAARGH jealous of anyone who’s going.

  6. Alyse

Trent are you on crack? Jk jk… This is a great line up! If I had the money and wasn’t still in high school I’d def go but alas….it cannot be

  7. PixiesBassline

FAITH NO MORE. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggg. That would ALMOST be worth going to California for. heh.

  8. Irma

Bad ass lineup! I like it more than ACL’s. Except I’m a poor college student :(

  9. Kristin

Same, poor college student and also living in PA = no trip for me :[ but Gorillaz, Jay-Z, MGMT, Faith No More, and Julian Casablancas? ALMOST makes me wanna start working doubles to pay for a plane ticket!

  10. krissy

I think it would be an awesome show because I like a lot of these bands…but to be honest, I am just not a music festival kind of girl. I would rather see a band in small venue where the sound and accoustics are much better.

  11. I can’t believe Muse is that popular, What I’ve heard on the radio is nice but to headline?- and over FNM? How many albums do they even have?

  12. saturdays line up is too good not to, here i come coachella!
