Uberstylish fashionista Victoria Beckham deigned to step out in public wearing a dressed down ensemble, including baggy sweat pants, here in SoCal yesterday and thought she’d be able to run her errands without being noticed by the paparazzi … she was sorely mistaken. VB got mobbed by the paps, so instead of rockin’ the look with her head held high in confidence, she cowered underneath a jacket so that people wouldn’t recognize her … a tactic that worked well, I think. Here are a couple of photos of a very embarrassed Vicki B:
Being caught make-up free and in baggy jeans and flat shoes once this week must be bad enough for Victoria Beckham. But to be snapped twice looking her less-than-glamorous self was clearly more than she could bear. As she left a building in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon, she went to great lengths to make sure she covered as much as herself as possible. Holding a black bomber jacket over her top half, she also had a member of her security staff standing by with a big black umbrella to shield her from the outside world. If it hadn’t been for the frenzied media attention outside, it would have been hard to have even recognised the Spice Girl, who was dressed very uncharacteristically in tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. But there was no denying it was Mrs Beckham, whose neck tattoos gave her away as she climbed in a limo which quickly whisked her away. Victoria, 35, never usually faces the cameras without putting her face and her heels on first. Whether she’s getting off a long-haul flight or doing a spot of shopping in Los Angeles, Victoria always looks immaculately groomed … So little wonder she was keen to keep her dressed-down look firmly under wraps yesterday.
Boo. Not only does Vicki B. look foolish but she totally wasted an opportunity to step out in the most casual way possible and look as fabulously fierce as she normally does. Had she just rocked this dressed down look with the same confidence that she rocks her couture looks, she would’ve looked amazing — no question. It’s silly behavior like this that makes her seem much more foolish rather than fabulous. Seriously, she needs to just get over this ridiculous behavior already.

Can you imagine the tabloids if she was seen under dressed and crying.. Oy.
Anyhow, I can totally understand why some days you just don’t feel like being photographed for the world to see. shrug.
Preach it, Trent! She’s doing herself no favors here. Her need to be perfect at all times makes me chill, not warm, to think about buying her clothing line. It is sad and makes me want to never ever end up like her. She should have more inner resources than to hide whilst seen in comfortable clothing. She’s a beautiful, smart, and even funny at times. I think she’d look absolutely cute in sweats and sneakers–and who knows, maybe even being able to walk and breathe might put a smile on her face.
I don’t know what made her think for one minute she could go without being noticed. If she is that afraid of appearing “normal” I guess she should be more careful. Send someone on the payroll to run her mundane errands.
YA! I wish she would rock the casual looks just as fierce as she rocks the high fashion clothes. She shouldn’t be ashamed to be in a cute pair of sweats and a tee shirt, she prob looked cute! I like to see different sides of people. We all know you have style, but you are human ( though Trent might disagree) and are allowed to not be fashion forward 24/7.
Maybe she had her lips done and and didn’t want to parade around with scabby lips like Lohan.
She’s appeared in public in sweats before so I don’t think it’s a fear of being undressed. Rather, maybe she just didn’t want to be photographed for one reason or another. VB is more fierce than all of us put together!!
Yeah from what i can tell she looks cute in her sweats, as much as britney’s fashion choices seem odd at times at least she owns every look and really doesnt give a shit what people think about her clothing choices

I hate to say this from personal experience, but from these and others pictures I have seen of the same shoot, the building she is exiting looks like the medical offices of several top Beveraly Hills plastic surgeons. But surely, if that were the case, wouldn’t someone have noted it so the mystery of her covered head was explained?
That woman is SO SKINNY! Her hips look about 5 inches wide, and she looked so skeletal on Idol. And I’ll bet in person she looks even skinnier since the camera supposedly ads ten pounds!

So, I totally have those sweats and I’ve worn them out (finals week!), so I know that with a cute tee and sweats they can be quite cute. She shouldn’t be ashamed…I mean they are still a name brand label!
