Last June we learned that Emma Watson, of Harry Potter fame, was chosen as the new spokesmodel for Burberry fashion house and at the time got our first look at some of her promo photos for the Fall 2009 ad campaign. Today we get to check out a new batch of Burberry photos featuring Miss Watson as we get our first look at the new Spring/Summer 2010 campaign and some info from a new press release:
”This campaign celebrates our heritage and our timeless Burberry icons. The energy of the images and the dynamic cast reflect the different attitudes and expressions of the Burberry guy and girl. We’ve worked again with Emma Watson who has a classic, effortless beauty and is incredibly talented. Alongside Emma we have four British guys; Emma’s younger brother Alex Watson, Matt Gilmour, Max Hurd and George Craig. We always talk about how much fun we have making these images and I wanted to capture some of the excitement that you feel on set when all these different creative attitudes and personalities come together. Mario has shot these as both stills and video so we can share some of that energy with a wider audience”. Colour images highlight the brand’s rich heritage and signature icons and are all anchored in outerwear, including modern variations of the Burberry trench coat, and innovations of the Burberry check. Images express the brand’s three collections – Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, and Burberry Brit. The full campaign breaks in key online and print publications worldwide in January 2010. Burberry recently announced that it will be returning to London Fashion Week to show its Autumn Winter 2010 womenswear show in February, moving its show from Milan. Burberry, which was founded in 1856, is a member of the FTSE100 and is headquartered in London.
As I said back in June, I love Emma as the new spokesmodel for Burberry … they seem a perfect fit for one another. They are both classic, classy and distinctly British. I’m a pretty big fan of Burberry myself … I even wore a Burberry check tie to the last wedding I attended last October. Here’s hoping that Emma Watson‘s collabo with Burberry is a long, fruitful and very prosperous one for both of them. After all, she looks pretty damn fantastic in their clothes, don’t you think?

She really does fit in with this campaign perfectly..I wish there was a little more variety with her facial expressions, but she’s such a classic looking girl..Love it!
i love emma…but compared to some photo spreads she did before…i guess i was expecting a little more. but i agree shes a good fit.

@ Kendra — Yeah I was trying to think of the word to describe her look, and “classic” seems perfect. There’s just something about her, but I’m probably biased cause I’ve seen her interviews and she has a wonderful personality too.

Emma Watson is freaking hot as… Kristen, well i’ve only ever seen her hot once with that magazine cover with the other dude.
She is stunning. I adore the clothes. So refreshing to see such normal, classic clothes instead of the usual trendy nonsense.
As much as I love her, her face looks identical in each photo. Don’t they teach modeling over there…?
She is perfect for the Burberry campaign with her classic look, but I think she needs to gain about 5 pounds. She looks a little too thin. Gorgeous girl, but I still do think she looks about 14 rather than 20.

totally agree. i feel like she should be modeling for a burberry kids’ line because she just looks wayyy too young for adult fashion IMO. not trying to hate though! she’s awesome just really young looking.

Beautiful girl, not certain how I feel about her barely 17 brother being in the photos, but he is very attractive as well (and looks nearly identical to his big sister). Pics are ok. Less airbrushed than the fall/winter ones. Still not the best images of Emma we’ve got.

Oh Emma is SUCH a little doll! I am NOT a big HP fan, but I adore her! And I love that they used her brother too! For some reason, I can see her being a not-so-robotish Victoria Beckham one day! Loves her!

I absolutely loved her in this campaign. She looks so pretty. I love her style. emma has such good fashion sense. i love the new burberry coats. The styling in this ad is nice!! It’s nice that they used her brother too!

she looks beautiful but i think she looks way too young in these photos. and her facial expressions are the same in almost every picture. i think it’s either she’s too thin or her hair makes her look young.
The ruched dresses are just oh-so-yummy. She looks great!

Looks too young. Most of Emma Watson’s fans could not afford Burberry. Also, where is her leg in the bottom right photo?
