Last night was Sarah and Mark’s annual Xmas party and it should go without saying that it was another fabulous night in Detroit. Before the festivities got started last night, I met up with Tracey and Zakiya for dinner and gift exchanging:
It was very nice getting to spend some alonetime with Tracey and Z. We had a very nice conversation and a very nice dinner together.

As always, the White Elephant Gift Exchange was the highlight of the evening … but for ME, it was a thrill to get to meet Angi & Tony’s precious baby girl Lilly who was just born back in October. She is just the cutest little thing :) I was also thrilled that my new friend Sergio could come out and join the festivities. Everyone fell in love with him and a great, great time was had by all! There are few things I look forward to each year more exciting and fun than Sarah and Mark’s party … it was worth braving the freezing cold and the falling snow to come home for :)
Tonight, Sarah and I are having a date night of our own so that we can catch up just the two of us (and finally see Avatar in IMAX 3D) but I’ve got an afternoon date with my folks! Today is my last full day in Detroit so I’m gonna do my best to enjoy it :)
Aw, Trent. SO good to see you again. Even better that I can see you working in the other room. :)

wow, Z has grown heaps. i used to read this blog everyday a few years ago.
i think i stopped when it changed and started taking ages to load. Always enjoyed seeing pics of Z and how much she’s grown!!
