‘The Runaways’ Releases First Teaser Movie Trailer

Last Sunday we got our first look at the first movie poster from the upcoming biopic film based on the 70′s band The Runaways which, as you should know by now, stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Curie. Today we get our FIRST LOOK at the first teaser movie trailer for The Runaways … here are a few screencaps:
Look, I realize this clip is under a minute long but I gotta say … I’m impressed. This trailer is meant to be just a tease but in the glimpses we see of the actresses playing the parts of The Runways, you can tell that they really look like the people they are playing in the film … particularly K. Stew. She looks exactly like Joan Jett. Don’t take my word for it, check out this trailer after the jump …
It looks good, y’all. I suspect we’ll be seeing a more substantial movie trailer soon but, thus far, I’m loving what I’m seeing here. What do y’all think … impressed or notsomuch?

I loved the trailer so much, I just downloaded the “CherryBomb” song! lol I can’t wait for this…

Stewart doesn’t have a rock-star drive at all.
Really? The only thing people care about is the stupid lip biting? Who cares? Basing an entire movie on the fact that an actress bit her lip once in a teaser trailer. Lame. It just sounds like people are finding absoultely any excuse to be a hater and run with it.
Anyways, the guy at the end sorta sounded like Clooney to me haha highly doubtful it is him though
the lip biting comments r so lame it they r just from whiney girls that r trying to seem cool. Get over yourself and pretend she was never bella. Don’t get your panties in a twist and take some midol. It will help promise.
I used to not like Dakota because I am so jealous of her. Ugh. But she does amazing in almost every thing she is in. She is very talented. I think I might go see it for her. Kristen doesn’t really impress me any but, you never know, she might make things look good and maybe even look sober through the movie instead of looking stoned out of her mind all the time.
well, i also saw k.stew in adventureland, throughout the entirety of which she BIT HER FREAKING LIP. and did that shudder-breathing thing. she plays every character exactly the same… good acting is more than saying lines while making a series of stock gestures and facial tics.
ok i also wasn’t one of kristen stewart’s biggest fans after watching twilight but since the writing of those books sucks im pretty sure kristen didn’t really have material to work with. but after watching new moon and other movies that she’s been in i gotta say she’s actually a pretty talented actress.
anyone that doubts kstew’s acting needs to go see SPEAK.

@mimi… i posted earlier…speak is an great movie and kristen is fantastic in it. i’d never heard of it till i saw it on lifetime one day out of the blue. great performance!
kristen somewhat looks like shane from l word in the first pic.
The lip biting thing is trademark…actors and actresses have had trademark moves they throw into every role since the dawn of cinema. So much hating…lol.
well, to all the people commenting about kristen’s lip licking…..you are all so dumb if you assume that Joan Jett doesn’t lip lick/bite…because she DOES. That’s why Kristen’s doing it…she’s playing HER, duh, and for the record, watch how she does it. Different in adventureland. And she didnt do that at all in panic room. So get a grip, you pretend critics! you just hate her because she has a fab life and you don’t. Pathetic losers.
you know whats funny….the movie is rated R, so dakota woulddnt even be allowed to see it by herself!! unless she was with an adult!! hahaha
