Taylor Lautner Promotes His Upcoming Gig On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Taylor Lautner, like his BFF/rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift before him, will play host of Saturday Night Live this weekend and to promote his upcoming gig, NBC has released 2 video promos for the show. The official Summit Entertainment Twitter profile also shares a promo photo as well:
In the promo videos, Taylor first explains that he will be hosting SNL and Kristen Wiig chimes in with a revelation of her own. In the second promo video, hilarity ensues. Check ‘em out after the jump …

To be honest, neither clip is particularly funny or interesting … the clips kinda feel like they decided to just say stuff and hope it was funny. Well, it was not. BUT, I’m still very excited to see Tay Tay host SNL. There’s still hope that the show will be funny … might there be a Jersey Shore spoof this weekend? I guess we’ll find out soon enough when SNL airs on NBC this Saturday night at 11:35PM LIVE from New York.

Trent I think you hit the nail on the head, Taylor has the perfect look to do a good Jersey Shore spoof. And I’d ld love to see him do some random shout out to Taylor like she did to him. He is friendly but comes across a bit stiff though in interviews too, so I’m sure his monologue will be the same. hopefully the sketches are actually good!

@zozo — Dagnabit, you CAUGHT ME! That WAS my shameless attempt to get a click … can’t pull anything over on you! Well, ACTUALLY what I meant was that Taylor and Kristen start laughing at each other as if they were hilarious when, in fact, they aren’t … sorry that wasn’t clear for you :)
i’m excited to see what he can do on this show, but i haven’t liked any of the episodes lately..and it’s deffinitely not the host’s faults. here’s to hoping they come up with some good material for our favorite hottie werewolfe!
