‘Sex And The City 2’ Releases First Movie Trailer

Earlier this month we got our first look at the first movie poster for the upcoming sequel film Sex and the City 2, followed shortly thereafter by the first promo photos from the film. Today we get to see the first movie trailer for the film, due out next May. Here are a few screencaps:
OMG … the trailer is just a little over a minute long and it looks fantastic. Vacation seems to be the theme of Sex and the City 2 … I can’t wait. After the jump, check out the trailer in full and see for yourselves …
It looks damn good, don’t it? But this trailer begs the question … why does Carrie still have her apartment? Unless it’s a flashback scene, something’s up. Get here soon, May 28 … I can’t wait to find out!! Woot!!

They look so fabulous, but I hope this isn’t just a 2 hour long episode. I felt that the first one had a really good and solid story to it. I hope this one is just as amazing as the first! I can’t wait!
What I want to know is why is Carrie is in her apartment? I can’t handle another BIG situation!

@ Lana, I feel the same way too. The first one was so amazing, it had a very movie-esque storyline. And I hope this one does too, but if it’s a 2 hour long episode… I’ll be okay with that too :P
What are they going to do? I never saw the series but I watched the film and I loved it! Intense! Ha
I am with everyone on this. At first I thought to myself that I will wait for it to come out on video, but who am I kidding. I will be there opening night with the rest of us crazy fans.

If the 5th Character in this series has always been New York City (as SJP & Darren Star have always maintained) – why are they going to Morocco? I will see this film – probably opening weekend, cause it is SATC. I may even love this film. But I wish they hadn’t made it.
Everything was wrapped up nicely at the end of the first movie (which also had too much non NYC time for me)….. what else are they gonna do??
I am worried. I don’t want them to f*ck it up. And I am very fearful that they will. Flashbacks to the 80′s? Please. That to me is a sign that you have run out of good ideas.
I know I am in the minority, but I just wish they had left it alone at the end of the series…….

I could see Carrie keeping her apartment and being married. Remember she had her apartment for four years before she decided to sell it and get married.
at the end of the first movie, carrie still had her apartment. the place her and big bought was sold to someone else, so she may very well have kept her apartment.
