Last night was a very quite night for me … after I dropped off David at the airport, I ran out to take care of a few errands before retiring at home for the rest of the night. We put out our Charlie Brown Xmas tree to make the place look more festive …
… and I spent much of the night reading by the fireplace. It was a very relaxing evening.
This afternoon, I’m meeting up for a quick brunch with Darion before he jets home for the holidays and tonight I’m meeting up with my friend David and Adriana for an Xmas Eve dinner in Pasadena. This will be my first Xmas spent here in SoCal … I’m really excited. While I’ll miss the hoopla of family and friends back home in Detroit, there is something very appealing to me this year about the prospect of a very quiet Xmas as home ;)
Today is a very quiet day for goss so I’m treating today and tomorrow as shorter weekend days. Ho Ho Ho and Happy Holidays!!

@Amy — We usually spend these holidays with our individual families on opposite sides of the country (ie. we can’t do both). This year, I decided not to go home to Detroit in lieu of staying in our new home which I love so much ;) David and I celebrate our lives together all year long.
