Mercy James Receives Her First Xmas Present

Chifundo Mercy James will be spending her first Xmas with her new family (mama Madonna, possibly Guy Ritchie and her siblings Lourdes Maria, Rocco John and David Banda) this year and it looks like she’s already received her first gift of the holiday season … a scooter … yep, a regular ol’ push scooter:


Hmmm … that’s it? A scooter? I mean, I guess it is in the realm of possibility that Mercy‘s big gifts will come on Xmas morning but don’t you think at least Madge could’ve hooked up her little girl with an 18k solid gold scooter … or something? Poor Mercy … I bet she thought she hit the jackpot when she got adopted by Madonna. If this first gift is a sign of things to come then the poor lil’ dear is prolly gonna be way disappointed.

    How foolish of you to think that. Child is like 4 y/o and I bet she’s more than happy with everything that she’s got. Besides, the fact that you’re Madonna’s child doesn’t mean you’ve got to be spoiled, lol.

    @Kendra Kabbalah is the oldest spiritual wisdom ever known (it even precedes Judaism) and you can study it and practice it regardless of your religious background. :)

    @ Simon, I have a 4 year old and that child doesn’t realize just how good she has it. I’m definitely not Madonna-rich but I make sure the kids get a nice toy or two for their holidays and they (kids) take them so forgranted. It’s a shame, really. When they misbehave, we take their toys away and then they really start to see the value in them to some degree.

    You may have been kidding, but seriously!
    Just because Madonna is filthy, oh and rich too. Does NOT mean she should spoil her kids. $50 Million is enough to live by let along over $200 million. But why bring up kids in such a spoilt environment where anything they want, they get. It just makes them become immature adults who look past the value of money and life.

    You really only have to look at Paris Hilton as a prime example of someone who has never worked in her life and has been given anything she wanted. Even if that was getting into a nightclub at the age of 16.

    She most likely got spoilt nasty anyway, but if that is all Mercy got plus some other things – its plenty for a young one. I think the fact that she is living a better life now is as much as a present anyone could ask for.

    I know Madonna’s children are not allowed to watch television, read magazines, watch movies or play video games, so this seems an appropriate toy for the newest child in the bunch. My son recently got a scooter and LOVES it.
