On Saturday we saw a few cute photos of designer Marc Jacobs and his beau (husband?) Lorenzo Martone as they canoodled on a beach in St. Bart’s for Xmas. Today we get to see Marc all coupled up with a book and his favorite thing in the world … his Hermès Birkin bag:
Hee hee, we see Marc Jacobs out and about with his Birkin bag more than we see him with Lorenzo or even his BFFs like Victoria Beckham. To be honest, I never once guessed that Jacobs might be toting around books in that expensive bag. I’m not entirely sure what book it is that he is reading in these photos but I’m glad to see the guy relaxing on holiday with a book. Marc Jacobs never struck me as a reader … but it is a good look for him, I think.

I don’t get the hype for these bags. This bag actually looks pretty ugly and probably cost 1000′s of dollars.

and it’s another bag than the one he wore a day earlier. this one has the trompe a l’oeil keyholder and is a lighter color than the other bag. show- off;-)
