On Saturday we saw photos of Guy Ritchie and his sons Rocco John and David Banda as they made their way thru London’s Heathrow Airport. Guy was in NYC last week for the premiere of his film Sherlock Holmes but he was also there to pick up his sons for the holidays. It now appears that Madonna will, too, be spending the holidays in the UK so that Guy can presumably spend time with Chifundo Mercy James as well. While it sucks for the kids that they have to share time with their parents, I’m glad to see that the parents here are working really hard to try and keep the family together, at least for the holidays, as best they can. I can’t see Madonna and Guy sitting across from one another on Xmas day in front of the roaring fireplace but I’m sure they’ll do their best to ensure their kids have the best Xmas possible.

It’s nice seeing a divorced couple putting the kids first. Some people need to take note.
I don’t think I knew that Mercy was Guy’s daughter as well. I thought that Madonna had adopted her herself after she and Guy broke up. Oh.
Yeah, Mercy was adopted after Guy. Still, even though only the 2 boys are actually his legally, I’m sure he shares a connection to his sons’ sisters, especially Lourdes who lived with him for the majority of her life so far.
