I’ve been watching soaps for a long time, and I can tell you that all sex scenes are shot that way. The candles, cheesy music, and faraway shots that indicate something’s going on but doesn’t show everything are all stapes in soap love scenes. Looked like every other scene I’ve ever watched with straight couples. No chaste kiss followed by a quick cut ala ATWT. A gay couple got the same glamorized, fantasy treatment, which I think is a bold step forward.

- Usually when you don’t floss your teeth your gums get weak and bleed and make the tooth more vulnerable to injuries and what not. That’s weird, though.

I thought Jon and Kate were cute together. They balanced each other out. She was uptight, and he was too carefree, which made for good TV. Separately, they are rather annoying, Jon more so than Kate, which is funny because I was always Team Jon from Day 1. Kate said on one of the last shows that she’s used to being in the public eye now and that they’ve grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle. It’s not feasible for her to be a fulltime nurse anymore. Besides, the salary probably couldn’t feed eight children. I don’t think Kate’s a media whore. She has stayed classy through this entire debacle.
