I am happy to report that I made it home to Detroit safe, sound and without incident. The flight was pretty run-of-the-mill and nothing out of sorts took place. I was seated next to a first time flier and a first time LA visitor to Detroit … she handed the flying part fairly well and tried to tell me that she was prepared to handle the cold weather here. As soon as the airplane door opened on the tarmac upon arrival, she was all Oh shizz! Hahahah … I think she’ll be fine tho.
While perusing the amazing SkyMall catalog, I came upon this advertisement for a great last minute Xmas gift idea:
Clearly the gift for that special someone who has everything. First thing, I love that the taser comes in colors with fun names (my fave is “Red Hot Red”) and second thing, I love how happy the family is in the photo. This advertisement is ACES!
So yeah, I’m home again. Sarah’s got some things planned for us to do tonight but I have to see my parents first. It’s good to be home again!!
Ah, SkyMall. Cheesiest at it’s finest. I do remember reading something about mountain bear garden gnomes on a flight from LAX. Haha ;)

Hahaha the best part is the smiling faces of the family. Reminds me of the taser incident in the Dean Koontz novel I just read, so I’m not a fan of this gift. But the way this is advertised is priceless. :D
