Great news Kylie Minogue fans!! Kylie.com has been updated with information announcing the release of a live album titled Kylie Live in New York which was recorded during one of her live performances at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, NY this past October. Here is the cover artwork for the new release due out on December 14:

Kylie.com is pleased to announce the release of Kylie’s new live album ‘KYLIE LIVE IN NEW YORK’ on December 14th on Parlophone Records! The album, recorded on the last date of her North American tour this year at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, will be exclusively available as a download. And that’s not all, we’re extremely excited to announce that fans will be able to listen to the first half of the New York concert pre-release, exclusively on YouTube from Midnight December 12 at Kylie’s YouTube

As you may recall, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend 2 of Kylie‘s 3 NYC shows (THIS one and THIS one) so I am VERY excited about the release of this live album of the third show!! And because we will have to wait until December 12 to preview the album, Kylie has released audio of one of the tracks featured on this new release for listening RIGHT NOW. This remix of Speakerphone (and Light Years and Come Into My World) will only be available on the iTunes version of the album. I know many fans were very disappointed that a DVD of this show was not made available for sale but I’ll bet this live album is a very nice consolation prize. I am so excited :)
