Julie Benz Does A Bit Of Shopping In SoCal
Former Buffyverse and current Dexter star Julie Benz was spotted on a shopping excursion on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA yesterday lookin’ very much the part of the Hollywood “It” Girl. Here are a few cute pics of Julie with her BFF/publicist PJ McCarthy as they made their way out of Kitson and into the throng of waiting paparazzi:
Julie looks fab, as usual … I love seeing her out and about. I am CRAZY IN LOVE with this season of Dexter (new ep tomorrow night, season finale next Sunday night) and am so happy that Julie is such an integral (if sometimes hated by other fans) part of the show. Julie Benz has always been a beloved celeb to me due to her amazing work as vampire Darla on both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Having her on my absolutely favorite show (24 slipped to #2) endears her even more to me. I hope we get to see a lot more of Julie out and about … she’s far too pretty not to be papped at every turn ;)

I couldn’t possibly agree with you more – Julie is a-m-a-z-i-n-g — and this season of Dexter may well be the best yet. Last week’s episode had me on the very edge of my seat every minute. Can’t wait for the final Dexter v. Trinity showdown.

I had no idea she was on Buffy and Angel! I need to rewatch lol. Must catch up on Dexter, too. 3 Episodes behind!

@Janelle — Julie Benz played Darla, the Master’s head vampire and was the vamp that sired Angel — she made her debut in season one of BtVS. She got dusted on Buffy and then was resurrected on Angel in human form … but then was made into a vampire again. She’s got a great Buffyverse storyline :)

She may be lovely but her I despise her character on Dexter. I know she serves as a complication for Dexter but Jesus H. CHRIST she annoys the CRAP out of me. BLECH!!!!

She can get annoying on Dexter now and then, but I can’t help but love her anyways! I am SO sad the next season is coming to an end so soon!! This has really been one of my fave seasons so far for sure!
