Here’s one for the WTF?! files … E! News is reporting that Jessica Simpson and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan are now romantically involved. According to the report, Jessica first became “smitten” with Billy and is now “fallen hard” for the rocker. The report goes on to claim that the two are “officially dating”:
We suppose this is one way to get over those feelings of melancholy and infinite sadness when it comes to trying to find the right man. It seems Jessica Simpson, whose most recent relationship with quarterback Tony Romo experienced a bit of a fumble earlier this year, is now looking to make beautiful music with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. What reportedly started off as a mere crush has turned into something a whole lot more. “She has fallen hard and is smitten,” a source tells E! News of Jessica, adding that both she and 42-year-old Billy consider themselves “officially dating.” Reps for both have yet to return calls for comments, but another source close to Jess says her inner circle is not exactly whistling a happy tune when it comes to this rumored hookup… “He’s just another in an endless string of Jessica’s boyfriends,” says the source. “They think he’s too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They’re sick of all of them being ‘the one.’ ” Ouch! Let’s sure hope this one sticks since there obviously won’t be any pity party next time around.
Uhhhhhhhhh … whut? I mean … HMMMM. Well, one thing’s for sure … Billy Corgan got game. When last we saw him on the arm of a pretty, young thing he was walking the red carpet at the Bravo TV A-List Awards with Tila Tequila back in April. Now he’s romancing Jessica Simpson?! I mean … for real?! I don’t even know what to say about this … I mean, it’s deffo a score for Billy to be gettin’ with Jess but I have NO IDEA what she sees in him. Wow. Well … yeah. What do y’all think? Has Jessica finally found “the one”?

At first I thought the same thing (WTF??). But then I started thinking about it…from Chicago, Alt. Rocker, bouts of depression, bad boy or “out there” image. Sound anything like anyone else you know that is married to another Simpson gal?…
I don’t think it’s that serious. Just because Jessica has an image in Hollywood doesn’t mean that she is actually that person in real life. She’s a beautiful girl and he’s an attractive older man. Maybe she needs an older, more mature man instead of all the other morons she’s dated (IE – JOHN MAYER).

Honestly? I stopped being a fan of Smashing pumpkins when they decided to break up because “britney and nsync” were bigger than them and they couldnt handle it. Play music for your FANS, not for the money dbag.
When I first read it I thought it said she was hooking up with Brent Corrigan.
if they are happy, good for them. I’m not a fan of hers, but I like and respect Billy very much, beyond his public persona.

What does he see in her?! I thought he actually was creative when it came to music and was rock and roll but now he is dating a girl who has failed as a singer, and we all know she isn’t clever so the only thing I can assume is that she’s an easy lay. C’mon Jessica! Despite whatever problems your facing you’re still at least a 7! He’s a 2! or less! Find work somewhere, start dressing like the Jessica Simpson i used to know and love (i.e toss the flannel), and then look for love.
Well good for her if this is what she wants but I think she so desperately wants to be in love that every time she meets someone new “he’s the one.” I have a friend exactly like this…she is so in love with the idea of being in love she gets hurt every time the relationship doesn’t work out.

I don’t know if any of you watched Scrubs back in the day, but there is an episode where Elliot is annoying a patient whose jaw is wired shut. He manages to push the button for the nurse, but when she comes in Elliot tells the nurse the patient is fine. And the nurse says “Really? Because he seems to be screaming with his eyes.”
