Last week, Iron Man 2 released the first teaser movie poster which featured the dynamic duo of Iron Man and War Machine and just a few days later the first international movie poster was released which featured main protagonist Tony Stark. Today we get our first look at the second domestic movie poster for Iron Man 2 but this time, it’s the main villain who is getting all the focus:

Academy Award nominee Mickey Rourke plays main baddie Ivan Vanko/Whiplash (you may recall we got our first look at this character back in June) and now features in his very own movie poster. I’m hearing that the first trailer for Iron Man 2 *may* show in front of James Cameron‘s Avatar when it opens later on this month … which would be a great reason to get to the theater as early as possible. This is a good poster. Any guesses who might be featured on the next poster?

You know..This could be any random paparazzi pic of him..He looks the same as he usually does!
@Kendra — Yeah, I like the Whiplash character but I do not like Mikey’s stringy hair … I wish they would’ve done something with it.
I wouldn’t care too much about Iron Man 2 except for the fact that I love Mickey Rourke and his ‘comeback.’ Don’t know if you can still call it that – as far as i’m concerned, he has officially been ‘back’ since Spun which I loved him in.
(Ir!)regardless, I guess stringy hair does it for me. He totally sells it for me!
Cool poster but with a not-so cool actor who loves to drop the f-word. But in the spirit of the holidays, I guess I can go the route of ‘hate the sin but not the sinner’ –whatevs. I’m pretty sure Robert Downey, Jr. is going to shine in this one, but I am looking forward to seeing ScarJo as the Black Widow.
I would assume that the next poster would feature Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.
I’m not a fan of Whiplash’s look in ths film…Mickey’s stringy hair aside, I was hoping that the final look of his “armor” would be more than the one we saw earlier, but I guess I was wrong. They really should’ve used Crimson Dynamo as the villain instead.
