Headin’ Home
The TV Guide
Yesterday was a pretty quiet day for me … I ran out to pick up a few things (books, mostly) and spend a leisurely night reading and packing for my trip home to Detroit this weekend:

I fly out later today and as happy as I am to see my family and friends, I’m not very much looking forward to the cold weather. I understand the highs have only been reaching the 20s … OY! It’s gonna be low 80s here in LA tomorrow ;( Ah well … it’s home, right?
Earlier this morning, I was able to interview Julie Benz about the season 4 finale ep of Dexter and I’ll be posting the full audio from our chat before I take off for home. Be on the lookout for it, we had a great chat :)

Damn.. that’s cold. (In Detroit)… You just made me realize that I’ve only experienced temps that cold, like 3 times in my life.
And 20 degrees is the HIGH?!… Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! :-P
Have a safe chat!!!
I can’t imagine being somewhere during the holidays with hot weather. It wouldn’t feel like Christmas to me. It has been raining here but other than that it’s pretty cold even though two months ago it was in the high 80s and 90s. : /
I meant safe flight!
Although cold, we’re still waiting for our first real snow here in the suburbs of Detroit. Hopefully, it will before Christmas. A green Christmas just doesn’t seem like Christmas. Especially since we’re in Michigan and it is so cold out.
Have a safe flight. We’ll be happy to have you home.
It’s been mainly -5F where I live but today it is almost 30F (hooray for canadian chinooks)
while you’re in detroit shout over the river a big hello to Windsor my second home in the summer :)
It IS super cold here this week – hopefully it will warm up a little when you get here…bring the sunshine with you! Safe travels!
I hope any big snow holds off until after Christmas. I have too many relatives making their way to my house the 24th and 25th and would like them to arrive safely. It has been kind of cold here in the mid Michigan area, but not much snow.
you want snow? come to the west side of Michigan. we have plenty over here in kalamazoo!
