Goodbye 2009 . . .
The TV Guide

By many accounts, 2009 was not a great year and was a pretty miserable end to a fairly hellacious decade. I don’t know many people who aren’t happy to see 2009 end. So, it is appropriate that we give a hearty Peace the Spork Out to the year 2009:

But, as miserable as the year was for most, I have to say that it wasn’t so bad for me. Sure, the failing economy had an adverse effect on my life just like it did for so many others but when I look back on the last year, I can only focus on the positive things that occurred. David and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary by moving in together here in LA back in February. I made some fantastic new friends who I love and care for dearly. I was able to celebrate the love and union of a couple of amazing people who tied the knot this year. But, I think, most importantly … I was able to continue doing what I love to do … I was able to get another year of blogging under my belt. I want to send out lots of love and wishes for a Happy, Happy New Year to each and every one of you reading this today. We are on the brink of a whole new year, a whole new decade and that means a whole new opportunity for fresh starts. I am resolving to do more studying in the new year and am planning to reconnect with the beauty and holiness of Nature. I am really excited for 2010 …

… and I wish you all love, prosperity, health and happiness in 2010 and beyond!

Happy New Year, y’all!!

    today was my grandma’s funeral – she died on the 28th. 2009 just had to get in one more blow for me. So I am really happy to see it end – and all I can say is that I hope 2010 is nothing like 2009.

    Umm..I find it really offensive that you said Peace The Spork Out to 2009..So insensitive!! ;) Aaanywho, it’s been another great year of reading your blog..When anything major happened, I came her first to get your take on it..Whether I agreed with you or not, I always respected the way you handled the material..A very Happy New Year to you and to all of my fellow PITNB readers!!

    @Mikie – I’m so sorry for your loss.. :(

    goodbye 2009????? i say goodbye pink is the new blog!!!! it was fun while it lasted but it’s really just become stealing from other sites and too much about you! i used to come here so i could just get all the news in one place, but your site, among others, is why so so so many people think 2009 was so terrible. worry about yourselves and not celebrity gossip and bradley coopers buttcrack and nicole ritchie at the basketball. so long.

  18. Rebecca says:
