Julie Benz is such an amazing actress, she seems so sweet and down to earth. I hope a storyline can come along that she will return for that will be as epic and momentous as her death. Will of course miss her on the show

Oh man! I’m so freakin jealous! I can’t listen to the audio until tonight, but I know I won’t be disappointed with an interview of Miss Julie Benz by one of her coolest fans =).

I love the character of Rita – she actually somewhat annoyed me but that’s WHY I love her – she played a very multi-layered character seamlessly. She was the glue of that family and the ‘norm’ that Dexter so desperately wanted to ‘blend’ into. When it comes down to it – Rita just really loved her kids and her man. And she’d been through alot of shit. It will be interesting to see where the writers take Dexter and his family now – and how much of a role Rita will still play in the storyline for next season.

I would’ve paid alot of duckets to see a Rita/Trinity Face Off – she could kick some ass with the help of her sdiekick, super baby! I’m so sad she won’t be back, but I’m excited about her future work, I recently saw some older steamy photos of her and damn – girl can rock the sexy and provocative like no other!

I mentioned this in the iron man thread, but, Trent – I couldn’t comment on your Dexter post b/c I was still in shock. As soon as I heard Harrison crying I swear my heart skipped a beat. Best ending EVER! I honestly turned to my fiance and was like ‘oh no, Rita! Trent is going to be so upset!!’ He was confused and Im pretty sure he now thinks I have an imaginary friend named Trent or I’m cheating on him ;) haha

Kudos for this interview! After watching Rita’s shock exit, this makes it a lot easier for fans who loved her character. NOW KNOWING there was/is an alternate episode, if enough fans want to reverse this, we really can, or at least tell them to film the book series for –dare we say– Dexter movies. Can be done!
