Courtney Love, who we learned earlier this week lost primary custody of her daughter Frances Bean Cobain because Frances decided that she wants to live with her grandmother on her father’s side rather than her mom, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Dazed & Confused magazine … looking very much like living incarnation of the magazine’s name:
Oh, Courtney. In regards to losing custody of her daughter, C. Love posted a rant on her Facebook profile blasting her daughter as a traitor for choosing to live with her grandmother, Wendy O’Connor, rather than with her. After the jump, check out the rest of C. Yeeeeeeeeeah. I don’t know that Court was really going for Mother of the Year with these photos and I don’t suspect they will help much with any bid on her part to regain custody of her daughter but, well … she’s just being Courtney, I guess. And, in all honesty, it doesn’t sound like Courtney even wants to get custody of her daughter back again:
COURTNEY LOVE has launched a vicious attack on her own daughter, calling her “deluded” and “deceptive”. The volatile rocker has hinted she wants nothing more to do with FRANCES BEAN COBAIN after losing custody of her. Frances has been placed under the temporary guardianship of her late father KURT’s mum Wendy O’Connor and sister Kimberly – apparently of her own doing. As a result, a fuming Courtney, 45, took to Facebook to vent her rage at 17-year-old Frances via a series of scathing posts. She wrote: “I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this shit has lost her position… she was deceptive, she lied and she’s lying to herself… “My daughter is not always honest.” The HOLE rocker also warned her daughter she’s not as wealthy as she’s led herself to believe. Furthermore, Courtney reminded Frances she’s the one in control of the money tragic NIRVANA star Kurt left his family. She added: “The fact is fbc (Frances Bean Cobain) is deluded. She thinks she has all this money. The point is I have all the money she has. Frances is clearly deluded that she can buy her grandmother a small house in LA. I’d love to see how that works.” However, Courtney offered some reconciliatory praise for her daughter once she’d calmed down. She wrote: “Don’t worry, Frances is a wonderful kid, she’s got bad people around her and wants it both ways. You could’ve asked for emancipation… you realise this will put you in juvenile family circus three times in your little life? I love you and always will unconditionally.” It’s been reported a drug relapse cost Courtney custody of her teen girl. However, the singer’s lawyer has rubbished the claim, insisting his client is completely “clean”.
Yikes! Since this rant, Courtney posted one last message on her Facebook page:
ive never had so many texts in my life, i want to thank all my friends im so glad i have you and to frannie’s worried friends shes not stupid she trusted the wrong people and got snookered into a circus shell figure out what a ridiculous mess shes in and shes smart,shell have to work really hard and shes not used to it. but i have faith shes my daughter and i love her. cruelty is not what shes about.
It sounds like Frances living with her grandmother is the best outcome of this whole mess. It must be terrible for young Frances to read these messages from her mother on Facebook … poor thing :(

is it just me or does her crotch area look very bulging in the lower left picture? weird…
It’s not that she looks bad, per se, it’s just these kind of photos coming on the heels of her losing custody, well….it’s just sad. It’s pretty obvious that CL does not have very good judgment as a mom.
maybe it’s just a really good photoshop job, but i think she looks okay. her skin looks great and her boobs aren’t bad either.

I think she looks kind of amazing! I also don’t think this has anything to do with whether or not she’s fit to have a daughter in her home. Mothers in the industry often pose for photos like these, or do nude scenes in movies. It’s part of what they do. Besides, FBC is 17, not 3, so she has seen boobs before. Yes, Courtney is messed up in the head, but maybe that is just her.

God, she is a mess. Posting facebook rants against your child is sickeningly wrong. Poor Frances Bean. And to ridicule her for wanting to buy a “small house in LA” for her grandmother? How sad is that? That’s like the sweetest little dream ever, whether she, as a 17 year old, can do it or not.

What really stands out to me is the line about how F will have to work, “she’s not used to that.” Huh. So in other words, you raised her to be spoiled and lazy and she’s pretty stupid to turn her back on that?
I don’t know much about the Cobain side of the family-Kurt turned out pretty messed up, so I’m loathe to assume that they are balanced people who know how to raise kids-but they can’t be worse than CL. And if they have practical expectations of kids who live in their household and she doesn’t, then they’re at least one degree better suited to have custody.
Poor Frances. It’s ridiculous. No child should ever have to put up with a mother like that. She’s acting like a teenager. That’s something a bitchy girl in high school would do to her ex best friend or something, not something you would do as a grown woman to your DAUGHTER. I don’t think the courts would really care about the pictures, but if the courts were going to take anything into regard, it would be her belligerent, deluded and often misspelled rants. This woman should not be a mother, and Frances has made the right choice living with her grandmother. At least she might have a fighting chance to not turn out like Courtney Love.
It’s disgusting for any mother to talk about her own child in this way, especially in public and on a fucking social network to boot! Poor Frances must have felt like Precious living with that unstable heathen.

#1. I still think she looks better than L. Lohan. – she’s got better skin, better poses, looks the same (or younger?) age as Lohan.. and her dirty fingers aren’t in her mouth..
#2. If Frances has bad personality traits, it’s because her mom is Courtney.
#3. Frances will get beyond this… she has SO many people (and her dad’s fans) who absolutely adore her, forever.
I don’t understand how posting that garbage on Facebook about your own daughter whom you are supposed to love make sense. First of all this matter is something that shouldn’t be splattered all over the interweb for people not in the family to read. While we know she lost custody the deets and personal opinions and feelings of those involved really are none of our business, Obviously, she lost her child for a reason. This rant just proves it.
