Brittany Murphy Passes Away At 32
The young actress passed away due to cardiac arrest

Shocking and very sad news to pass along today … TMZ is reporting that Brittany Murphy has passed away due to cardiac arrest! As is always the case with news this fresh, details are slim but here is what is being reported right now:

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ. She was 32. A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ. We’re told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Murphy starred in such films as “Clueless,” “8 Mile,” and “Don’t Say a Word.”

I am completely and utterly shocked! I loved Brittany as Tai in Clueless and she always held a special place in my heart ever since. I seriously am at a loss for words. I cannot believe that this has happened :( I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this as more details become available. For now, let’s send our love and condolences to the Murphy family for their loss. This is so tragic … rest well, Brittany.

This is just shockingly sad news! I was/am a huge fan of Clueless and I thought her other movies were all very good too! It’s so sad to see someone so young pass away like this. And at this time of the year!
@ Zozo, others- there’s nothing wrong with Peace Out… it’s still all in good taste
@Samantha – there are no words. Your comment was just outright disrespectful.
