Brian Bonsall, the actor who played the lovable Andy Keaton on the 80′s TV series Family Ties and played Alexander Rozhenko (Worf‘s son) on Star Trek: The Next Generation, was arrested in Boulder, CO after he got into a fist fight with a friend in his home. Sadly, you may recall that Bonsall was arrested back in March 2007 for allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend in their Colorado home. Here is Bonsall‘s latest mugshot and the deets of his latest arrest:

Police say a former cast member of the 1980s television show “Family Ties” has been arrested for investigation of assault in Colorado. Police said Monday that 28-year-old Brian Bonsall got into a fight at an apartment on Saturday and hit a friend with part of a broken wooden stool. Bonsall allegedly told officers he had been drinking and didn’t remember what happened. Bonsall played Michael J. Fox’s little brother Andy Keaton on the sitcom. He is being held in the Boulder County Jail and was due in court Wednesday. Jail records didn’t indicate his lawyer’s name. Authorities say Bonsall was sentenced to probation in 2007 for assaulting his girlfriend. He was later accused of probation violations. The former child actor lives in Westminster, Colo., about 20 miles south of Boulder.

This is so sad. Bonsall‘s new mugshot looks almost indential to his other mugshot except he got a new butterfly tattoo on his neck since he was last arrested. Bonsall just turned 28 last Thursday then he had to go and get arrested yesterday. I understand this guy has been having problems for some time now … it’s just a shame to see that his life has turned into this. I hope he gets his shizz straight real soon … I’d hate to learn of anything more tragic happening to him :(
