See What The Future May Hold For Some Of Our Fave Celebs

Time after Time
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Have you ever wondered what some of your fave celebs might look like in 10 years? Well, a new batch of photos created by forensics artist Joe Mullins have been released that show what celebs like Les Beckhams, Brangelina, Britney Spears, Madonna and more may look like in 2020. Some of the celebs don’t look too bad, others aren’t so lucky … behold:

What a difference a decade makes. This is how some of our most familiar faces could look ten years from now. There’s a sprinkling of grey hair, a smattering of wrinkles and a definite downward trend in jowls. But then, another ten years of parties, movie premieres, family life and fame have to make a mark. Victoria Beckham, for instance, looks far more careworn at 45 than she does now – but then three teenage sons is enough to turn any mother’s hair grey. (Victoria, however, remains a glossy brunette). Husband David, whose looks are as lucrative as his football, seems more Golden Oldie than Golden Balls at the grand old age of 44. And Madonna at 60 plus looks more like a Material Grandmother than Material Girl. The faces are the work of Washington-based forensic artist Joe Mullins. He looked into the future by taking recent photographs of the stars and adjusting them to look ten years older. He took into account each of the stars’ lifestyles to predict how they might look in 2020. He suggests that being a mother to a big family could have taken its toll on Angelina Jolie by the time she is 44. Her partner Brad Pitt appears as a still suave silver-haired 56-year-old. Paris Hilton at 38 appears to be paying the price for years of late nights out on the town. But Britney Spears fares a little better. Getting her life back on track after her spectacular fall from grace last year leaves her with only a few laughter lines at 38. ‘This is what the celebrities would probably look like if they didn’t take care of themselves. I’ve given them ten hard years,’ Mr Mullins said. ‘Perhaps they can hang these pictures on the bathroom mirror as motivation to live healthy.’

LOL!! These pics are great! Even if these celebs don’t actually age in this way, it gives us a pretty good idea of what they may look like in the years to come. After the jump, check out the “future” photos of Madonna, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton

First Look: Channing Tatum In ‘The Eagle of the Ninth’

Meaty
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Here are a few promo pics from a new movie titled The Eagle of the Ninth which stars Channing Tatum, Donald Sutherland and Jamie Bell and in set in Roman-occupied Britain in 1040 AD. From what I understand, the film tells an epic tale but from the looks of these first promo pics is also an excuse to feature sweaty, half-nekkid hotties on the big screen. Some of you may remember that Jamie Bell starred as Billy Elliot in the film of the same name … I would say the young man has grown up very nicely:

He’s come a long way from the shy and skinny ballet-dancing teenager in Billy Elliot. And after being ridiculed and teased for wanting to dance, Jamie Bell looks more than ready to take on his critics. The 22-year-old actor shows that he’s all grown up as he flaunts a buff-looking physique in the first pictures released for his latest film. He stars in the upcoming movie The Eagle of the Ninth, alongside Donald Sutherland and Channing Tatum, which is due out in cinemas next year. Set in 140AD in Roman-occupied Britain, Bell plays Esca, a Celtic slave of his master, a young centurion called Marcus Aquila, played by Tatum. Aquila has arrived in London twenty years after the unexplained disappearance of his father’s Ninth Legion in the mountains of Scotland. Together, he and Esca set off across Hadrian’s Wall to find out what happened to his father’s legion and retrieve its golden emblem, the Eagle of the Ninth. The film, which is based on the 1954 novel by the late children’s author Rosemary Sutcliff, also stars British actors Mark Strong as Guern, ‘an ex-soldier who holds crucial information about the Ninth’, and Douglas Henshall. Sutherland plays Aquila, Marcus’ uncle who is living retired in Britain in the film which cost £15million to make and was shot in Hungary and Scotland. Since Bell made his acting debut in Billy Elliot aged just 14 – for which he won the 2001 BAFTA Award for Best Actor – he has landed some major Hollywood roles. He starred alongside Jack Black, Adrian Brody and Naomi Watts in Peter Jackson’s King Kong, with Daniel Craig in last year’s World War Two film Defiance, and with Hayden Christensen in Jumper last year. Bell also landed the lead role as Tintin in The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, the movie adaptation of the Herge comic books, due for release in 2011.

I understand the movie is based on the 1950’s children’s book The Eagle of the Ninth written by Rosemary Sutcliff. It sounds like an interesting story but I’m having a hard time understanding the actual plot. To be honest, tho, if there is a promise of nekkidness of any sort from Tatum or Bell, well, who really needs a plot? Channing Tatum may not be a good actor but he does make for pretty good eye candy. Jamie Bell, on the other hand, is a fantastic actor so … who knows, this movie might turn out to be pretty good.

Bradley Cooper Gives Us A Peek At His Bum

Crack is whack
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Bradley Cooper stepped out for a walk with his pooch in Venice, CA earlier today lookin’ like he doesn’t have a care in the world:

It’s been a bit rainy here in SoCal today but it doesn’t appear that the weather adversely affected Bradley’s demeanor in the least. Once he returned home to pen up his pooch in a pet carrier, tho, he inadvertently gave the photogs a perfect view of his booty crack as it peeked out of his pants — which you can see after the jump …

Cocktail Hour

The TV Guide
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Last night David and ventured out to grab a few cocktails at O Bar to share a quiet night together on the town …

… which was the perfect way to share an evening. With the big New Year’s Eve celebration on the way, we wanted to just go out and enjoy a relaxing night of cocktails.

Tonight, I’m hoping to meet up with some friends for a fun dinner together. 2009 is quickly slipping away … it’s hard to believe that we are on the brink of a whole new decade already.

Lindsay Lohan To Launch Her Own Clothing Line

'6126' to offer more than just leggings
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Lindsay Lohan teased on Twitter that her leggings line 6126 would be expanded into a full fashion collection and Women’s Wear Daily confirms the plan. Here are a few sketches that show the look that L. Lo’s fashion collection will have and some deets about plans for the expansion:

Lindsay Lohan is growing her apparel universe. The starlet is set to expand her leggings label, 6126, to a full-fledged contemporary apparel line for fall 2010, with more lifestyle brand extensions planned for 2011. This will be in addition to her role as artistic adviser at Ungaro, a job that has drawn significant attention and controversy to the French brand. Through her Twitter account, Lohan broke the news on Tuesday, posting: “i need MORE followers i am so sad about this, how can i tell everyone about my 6126 full collection COMING OUT! all clothing.” Earlier, Kristi Kaylor, principal in 6126 LLC in Beverly Hills, and Henri Levy, chief executive officer of Los Angeles’ DNAM Apparel, which will manufacture the line under license, spoke exclusively to WWD about the expansion. “We’ve had amazing success with the leggings line,” said Kaylor. “We have a great business with Neiman Marcus and several hundred great specialty stores. [DNAM Apparel] was the perfect partner to work with 6126 and grow it as a lifestyle brand. We’re launching the full clothing collection next year, and a cosmetics line, handbags, shoes, jewelry in spring 2011.” Levy, whose company has produced clothing for Ed Hardy and Joe’s Jeans, said he was looking for “a feminine brand” for his stable. The fall 2010 apparel line will comprise 100 pieces (spring 2011 will be 150) wholesaling from $18 for basic leggings to $300 for a leather jacket. Average retail price points will fall between $100 and $150. The 6126 leggings currently retail from $68 to $120. “It’ll be a young contemporary price point with contemporary styling,” said Kaylor, citing the still-weak economy. “We’re conscious of it in the sense that we have great price points and quality products. The vision is to offer customers something that they don’t have in the marketplace today, items that go back with leggings: blazers, dresses and tops.” Fabrics will include the same Modal and lace used in the leggings, plus cashmere and leather. The line will retail where the leggings currently sell: Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and specialty stores nationwide, plus Harrods, Lane Crawford, Kitson Japan and Isetan internationally … Kaylor stressed Lohan has been a hands-on partner, working with designers in her apartment earlier this month and throwing a working lunch for the design team at E. Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills. “She’s not a celebrity who lends her name to a brand,” said Kaylor. “She’s intimately involved from Day One. She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything go into production without trying it on.”

Oh my. I uh … yeah. If these sketches are any indication of what’s to come from 6126 then I think Lindsay is in big trouble. These sketches look terrible and none of them look fashion forward at all. If the plan is for 6126 to essentially be the “feminine” version of Ed Hardy then there is no hope for success … at all. I may have given her some good-natured ribbing concerning her leggings line but, to be honest, it seemed like a venture that she could handle and enjoy some success. I honestly think that expanding the brand into a full fashion line will be the ruin of 6126. Blah, it’s just a bad idea. What do y’all think? Would YOU want to wear fashions by Lindsay Lohan?

Angelina Jolie Gets Some Special Visitors On The Set Of ‘Salt’

Cuteness
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Earlier this week we saw a couple photos of Angelina Jolie, decked out in a fur coat, as she went back to work on the NYC set of her new film Salt and today we get to see a cute pic of some cute visitors who dropped by the set to see her last night. Faux hubby Brad Pitt brought along the couple’s two eldest daughters Zahara Marley and Shiloh Nouvel for a wee visit … behold:

As sub-zero temperatures start to creep back in, everyone will be wrapping up like Angelina Jolie and her brood did while filming in New York. The actress kept herself toasty warm in a brown puffer jacket as she and partner Brad Pitt took daughters Shiloh, 3, and Zahara, 4, home from the set of Angelina’s movie Salt in New York last night – when temperatures reached a low of -5C. The girls seemed to be taking style tips from both their mother and father – Shiloh accessorising her black puffer jacket with a hat like Brad, and Zahara going for a pair of pink fluffy ear muffs. Angelina seemed to be going for warmth rather than style in the brown coat, which she wore throughout the day of filming re-shoots for her new political thriller. The 34-year-old actress also wore a scarf in an attempt to combat the icy cold wind as she shot scenes on Manhattan’s Hudson River.

Yeah, baby, it looks coooooold outside in NYC. It must be pretty miserable to have to be outside in these temps all day long so I’m sure it was a nice surprise for Angelina that her girls came out for a visit. I can’t say that I miss the cold weather at all. David and I spent the last 2 New Year’s Eves in NYC and we are very much looking forward to celebrating the arrival of 2010 here in the relative warmth of SoCal. But, I’m digressing … this pic of Brangelina and the girls is way cute. Here’s hoping she won’t have to work too much in the bitter NYC cold anymore.
