Jude Law & Sienna Miller Hit The High Seas

Yesterday we saw the first photos of Jude Law and Sienna Miller frolicking together on a beach in Barbados as they celebrated the holidays together with his children and today we get to see a couple more photos from their tropical holiday. Jude, Sienna and his kiddies were piled ontop of a huge inner-tube raft that was pulled along by a speedboat, behold:

Weee!!! It really does look as if JuSie are having the time of their lives. While I’m certain these two very likely enjoy other — more private — activities together, it’s nice to see them lookin’ so happy … in public. I understand Jude and his kids, including little Rudy pictured here, have already made their way to another nearby island. I have no doubt that Miss Miller will be following after. All signs point to to a very JuSie New Year.

Eamon Farrell and Steven Mannion got hitched!
Colin Farrell Plays Best Man At Brother Eamon’s Wedding

Congratulations are in order for Eamon Farrell and Steven Mannion who were wed in a ceremony in Dublin, Ireland this weekend. Eamon is older brother to actor Colin Farrell, who was on hand to be the Best Man at the nuptials. Here are photos of the newlyweds (who were actually legally married in Canada over the Summer but were remarried in this civil union ceremony in Ireland over the weekend) alongside Colin and his eldest son James as they made their way out of the festivities at Krystle nightclub last night:

The wedding celebrations of Colin Farrell’s gay brother were a family affair last night at Krystle nightclub on Harcourt Street in Dublin. Farrell’s brother Eamon was marking his marriage to his longtime partner, Irish artist Steven Mannion. Colin was in Dublin for the party, bringing his five-year-old son James with him. Colin’s father, Eamon Sr., his mother Rita, and his sisters, Claudine and Catherine, were also at the bash, along with other high-profile Dublin socialites. James is Colin Farrell’s first son, whom he had with former girlfriend, American model Kim Bordenave … Although this is a time of celebration for the Farrell family, the clan has had other issues to contend with recently, too. The newlywed Eamon has expressed disappointment that he and Steven could celebrate in Ireland but they could not formally wed here. The Irish Civil Partnership Bill brought in earlier this year gives gay people many of the same rights as hetersexuals, but does not legislate for marriage. As a result Eamon and Steven got married in Vancouver, Canada, over the summer, where same-sex marriage is legal. “We have to get married abroad,” he complained in an interview at the time. “It’s absolutely terrible. We have to go somewhere legal, which narrows it down to about five countries. “Who wants a civil union? It’s just so legal. I want to be able to get married.” Farrell was best man at his brother’s summer wedding.

While I understand the couple’s frustration at having to A) travel to another country in order to be legally wed and B) settle for a “civil union” instead of an actual marriage in their homeland, I hope they are able to take comfort in the fact that they are lovingly committed to one another no matter what anyone has to say about it. I LOVE that Colin has been so involved in this happy time in his older brother’s life … I’m sure it meant a lot to Eamon to have his family included in his nuptials to Steven. Much love and congrats goes out to the happy couple. May they live a long, happy and prosperous life together :)

Their Xmas card was snapped in happier times
Happy Holidays From Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller & The Twins

As you may have heard over the holiday weekend, actor Charlie Sheen was arrested on charges of domestic assault against his wife Brooke Mueller in Aspen, CO early on Xmas morning. Since Sheen‘s arrest and release from jail, conflicting stories as to the state of the couple’s marriage have come to light and a new report has emerged that claims that Mueller confessed that Sheen attacked her while wielding a knife. But, before we get to that, People magazine shares with us the Sheen-Mueller Xmas card that was photographed and sent out before Xmas, when the couple and their twin baby boys Bob and Max enjoyed happier times:

Looks like Charlie Sheen didn’t expect to get coal – or police handcuffs – this Christmas. In the TV star’s holiday card, sent out well before his arrest Friday on domestic-violence charges, Sheen, 44, is grinning broadly alongside wife Brooke Mueller and their twin boys in Los Angeles – giving no cause to suspect that he’d be spending his Christmas in jail, and the the two would be headed to counseling … “Happy Holidays From All of Us to You!” the card reads merrily underneath. Apparently, happy holidays were one gift Santa didn’t bring the Sheen family this year.

While we still don’t know for sure exactly what went down in the early hours of Xmas day, we can take some comfort in the fact that Charlie, Brooke and the twins were happy (or at least looked happy) in the weeks leading up to the holidays. Now, getting back to the alleged assault … Brooke Mueller reportedly told the police that Charlie Sheen attacked her on Xmas morning with a knife, TMZ has got the deets:

Brooke Mueller told cops Charlie Sheen threatened her with a knife … law enforcement sources tell TMZ. As we have already reported, one of the two felonies for which Charlie Sheen was arrested is felony menacing — a threat involving a deadly weapon. Our law enforcement sources say Mueller told cops Charlie was in possession of a knife and threatened her with it. As we first reported, Mueller has recanted much of her story … so her credibility has clearly come into serious question. In addition, as we also first reported, Mueller was legally drunk with a .13 blood alcohol level. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ when cops arrived on scene they observed marks on Mueller’s body, but they do not know if the marks were related to any scuffle with Sheen.

Sheen‘s people say the couple will go into counseling to try and fix their problems … so who knows what the eff is going on. But when you see this photo of these cute baby boys you have to wonder if all of the drama involving their parents will have an averse effect on their young psyches. Whatever is going on, I hope Charlie and Brooke get it together and settle matters for the sake and safety of their young children.

“This will be the last season of 'The Tyra Show'”
‘The Tyra Banks Show’ Is Dunzo!

Sad news to pass along today to fans of The Tyra Banks Show (all 7 of you) … Tyra Banks herself has issued a statement announcing the end of her talk show of 5 years. According to Tyra, The Tyra Banks Show will be peaced the spork out at the end of this season … it’s dunzo, y’all:

After five seasons, two Daytime Emmy awards and too many girl-power episodes to count, Tyra Banks is announcing the end of The Tyra Show. “This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.” Wrapping at the end of its fifth season in the spring of 2010, it will be lights out for the show that brought viewers memorable weave-exposing, cellulite-revealing and tear-jerking moments. Banks will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company currently reviewing possible projects. Sticking to her mission, Banks aims to bring “positive images of women to the big screen,” says an industry insider. “My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks says. Adds the insider: “Tyra is sad because she’ll be missing so much of the daily connection to her viewers, but excited at the same time to be taking on a new challenge.” With encouragement from filmmaker Tyler Perry and longtime mentor Oprah Winfrey, Banks is “redefining beauty for women in film,” adds the source. “With Oprah’s big announcement this year, I think that gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing” … “There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart,” Banks writes in an open letter on her Web site. “And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.”

I mean, I guess it’s smart of folks to try and link the end of The Oprah Winfrey Show with the end of The Tyra Banks Show in an effort to make the end of Tyra‘s show seem like a bold move forward. But I’m convinced that the end of Tyra‘s show came not from her decision to work on other projects and came as a result of low ratings. Even still, The Tyra Banks Show was for a while the new Ricki Lake Show (which was the dominant daytime talk show for younger viewers in the 90′s) which is a feat in and of itself. I was never a fan of Tyra‘s show and I doubt I’ve ever watched an ep in full so I surely won’t miss it. I suppose this paves the way for Wendy Williams to be the new queen of the younger daytime TV talkshow demographic. Heaven help us all.
