"Happy Harlem Holidays!!"
Neil Patrick Harris Tweets His Season’s Greetings

It looks like it’s going to be a Merry Twitter Xmas in the Neil Patrick Harris NYC household this year because NPH seems really excited to be sharing his holiday experience with his followers in the Twitterverse. Here is a cute photo from @ActuallyNPH (Neil‘s Twitter username) and his festive Xmas tree which he shared with followers just a couple of days ago:

Back in New York after an eventful journey from the West Coast, Neil Patrick Harris is wasting no time getting in the holiday spirit. “Happy Harlem Holidays!!” the actor told the Twitter faithful on Monday. “Finally arrived (layover in Vegas – won $9.50 in slots!), got us a tree, about to trim.” Then, after working his magic on the evergreen, the How I Met Your Mother star offered up this festive photo of his handiwork. “Tree trimmed. Balls hung. Good times,” he wrote. Harris, 36, then hit a Broadway show on Tuesday night – the rock musical Next to Normal, which he deemed to be “fan-frigging-tastic!” All of which was well earned, given the nightmare before Christmas for travelers following the weekend’s heavy snows in the East. After his original flight to New York was canceled on Sunday, Harris tweeted: “Feel like I’m on the Amazing Race. In the bad way.”

NPH is a relative newcomer to Twitter but he has been an avid user ever since he started tweeting. It’s really fun to follow him and to hear what is going on in his life at any given time. I must concur with his assessment of the Broadway musical Next to Normal. I got to see the show back in August and I LOVED it! If you have the chance to see the show with the original cast, you simply must do so — you won’t be sorry … as Neil says, it really is fan-frigging-tastic! Oh and don’t forget to have yourself a merry little Xmas now.

Diva
Britney Spears Has Her Caffeine Delivered

Our dear Britney Spears, who practically made a career a few years ago of making daily excursions to pick up her fave iced coffee drinks, paid a visit to her friendly neighborhood Starbucks coffee shop yesterday to get her caffeine fix. But, instead of getting in a bit of cardio to pick up the drink herself, Miss Thang decided to have her drink delivered to her car as she chatted away on the phone:

Pshaw! Britney Spears cannot be bothered with the actual practice of walking in to pick up her drinks anymore. She’s evolved beyond that! Hee Hee … actually, I’m pretty sure that Britney has not given up the practice altogether … she was prolly just really involved on the phone to run in to pick up her drink. As far as diva demands go, Britters is generally not one to be waited on hand and foot. Brit Brit usually keeps it real … so it really ain’t no thang for her sit back and relax while someone bring her a coffee drink. It’s a luxury I enjoy myself from time to time ;)

Footage From Brittany Murphy’s Final Movie Project Emerges

While the world waits to hear the final official results of Brittany Murphy‘s autopsy and toxicology reports in the wake of her shocking death last weekend, producers of her final film Abandoned have released promo photos and video footage from the project. Here are a few promo photos of Brittany in Abandoned and some info about the newly released video footage:

Associated Press has got its hand on the first clip from psychological thriller “Abandoned”. Debuted on Tuesday, December 22, the 45-second snippet gives the first look at Brittany Murphy being evaluated by a doctor who doesn’t believe her memories are valid. The video also features a flashback as she recalls her moment in the past. In this indie film, Murphy stars as Mary, a woman who is convinced her husband Kevin has disappeared. As nobody believes her, Mary is fighting not only to find him but also to counter threats to her own life and sanity. Taking the role of Mary’s husband is Dean Cain. The film is additionally supported by Mimi Rogers who plays Markham, and Peter Bogdanovich who portrays Dr. Markus Bensley. Directed by Michael Feifer who also serves as producer, “Abandoned” is planned for 2010 release schedule in the U.S.

For the most part, I’ve been a big fan of Brittany‘s movies … as I mentioned before, I fell in love with her as Tai in Clueless back in 1995 and found myself enjoying her work in the years that followed (I was particularly impressed with her work in 8 Mile). The premise of his film sounds interesting, tho, I’m not sure that it is necessarily my cup of tea. After the jump, check out a vid clip from Abandoned and judge for yourselves if it’s a film that you might be interested in seeing …
