Welp, it’s been a year in the making but the Nine Inch Nails fan conglomerate dubbed This One Is On Us has released the final video trailer for the release of the DVD project titled Another Version of the Truth. As you may already be aware, Another Version of the Truth is a DVD put together by fans of the final show of NIN‘s Lights In The Sky Tour in Las Vegas, NV from December 2008. Back in February, the artwork for the DVD project was selected and in the months since, much work has gone into the project. Here are a few screen caps from this new trailer:

I am pleased and proud to have my video interview with Trent Reznor (conducted right before the final performance of the Lights In The Sky Tour in Las Vegas last year) included in the Bonus Features of the DVD. Earlier today we saw a cute photo of David Beckham and his sons making their way thru LAX Airport bound for the UK and now we get to see an equally cute pic of daddy Guy Ritchie with his sons — Rocco John and David Banda — as they made their way thru Heathrow Airport in London earlier today:

As you may recall, Guy was in NYC this week for the premiere of his new film Sherlock Holmes but it appears that he was also in town to pick up his sons from their mother Madonna. It’s possible that Maddy will also make her way to the UK with her daughters but methinks that won’t be happening. It’s such a shame that the kids have to divide up their time with their parents in this way now that the couple are divorced but … c’est la vie. Here’s hoping the Ritchie men have themselves a merry little Xmas.

Yesterday was my first full day here back home in Detroit and what a fun day it was. I got to catch up and be lazy with my Sarah before we ventured out into the cold night to see the last performance by Reggie Smith & the After Party. The band are calling it quits and chose Kuhnhenn Brewing Co. in Warren, MI as the venue for their last performance together. After 3, yes 3 bottles of wine … a bunch of great tunes … a group of great friends … and some snowfall later … the night was a roaring success:

Grrr … as much as I’m not a fan of the snow, it was a nice little surprise to see when we emerged from the brewery last night/this morning. Lots to do today before Sarah’s big Xmas party gets underway tonight. I’ll have lots of great photos to share tomorrow … Woot!!

After directing the first 2 amazing X-Men films (and taking a break from directing the 3rd film in order to direct Superman Returns), Bryan Singer has announced that he has signed on to direct X-Men: First Class … a prequel film to the X-Men films franchise:

During the Los Angeles premiere of James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’, Bryan Singer let it slip that he has recently signed on to direct “X-men: First Class.” While being interviewed on the red carpet by a film crew from Myspace, Singer said “I’m ramping up to do a movie called ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ at Warner Bros, and I just yesterday signed a deal to do an ‘X-Men: First Class Origins’ picture, which is kind of cool. I’m very excited.” MTV News first raised the possibility of Singer’s return to the “X-men” franchise back in August when his “Usual Suspects” collaborator Christopher McQuarrie signed on to write the sequel to “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Back in October, Singer confirmed that he was in talks to return to the series, but didn’t state which movie he was interested in. At the time, speculation centered on the “Wolverine” sequel due to the director’s stated desire to work with Hugh Jackman again. “X-men: First Class” takes its title from a comic that follows the adventures of the original five X-men: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman and Angel. Given the continuity changes made for the “X-men” films, Angel and Iceman would likely not appear in the movie if they follow the timeline that was previously established. However, Storm could very easily be added to the lineup of Jean Grey, Cyclops and Beast without disrupting any of the events shown in the previous movies. It is currently unknown when “X-men: First Class” will start production. Singer’s “Battlestar Galactica” remake has been fastracked by Universal and could conceivably be filmed before “X-men: First Class.”

This is great news … Singer does this sort of film very well. I’m a big fan of his previous 2 X-Men films. I’m confident that he will be the perfect person to bring X-Men: First Class to life on the big screen. I’m very curious about his Battlestar Galactica remake as well … considering how amazing the TV series was, he’s got some big shoes to fill in order to satisfy BG fans. He better not frak it up. But, I digress … Singer + X-Men = World of Yes!!

When last we saw David Beckham in the company of his young sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — he and the boys were bike riding together along the Pacific Ocean in Venice, CA last weekend. Yesterday, Becks and the boys packed up their shizz and made their way thru LAX Airport bound for the UK where they will be spending the holidays with close family and friends … behold:

Sunglasses, check. Knit cap, check. Stuffed animals, check. Looks like the Beckham men are ready to go. I’m sure mama Victoria Beckham is anxious for her sons to join her in London. Becks, I’m afraid to report, will not be returning to SoCal for some time … he’ll be staying in Europe after the holidays to begin playing again with AC Milan … but first, a British Xmas.

Earlier this month we got our first look at Lisa Kudrow‘s guest appearance on the ABC hit sitcom Cougar Town (which stars Kudrow‘s Friends compatriot Courteney Cox-Arquette) and today we get to see a preview clip from that special episode. Here are a few screencaps from the vid:

As was mentioned in the earlier post about Kudrow‘s guest appearance, her character Dr. Evans is a hard-nosed beyotch who is no friend to Courteney‘s character Jules on the show. Apparently, making these two characters the furthest thing from friends is meant to be funny. Hell, I love the show to death so I’m excited. In a move reminiscent of the one taken by both Gatorade and Gillette earlier this month, Swiss luxury watch company Tag Heuer has decided to dump downscale Tiger Woods‘s appearance in their advertising materials in “certain markets” in an attempt, they say, to “respect his privacy”. MMM HMMM:

Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer said Friday that it will “downscale” its use of golfer Tiger Woods’ image in its advertising campaigns for the foreseeable future. The company said it will continue its relationship with Woods but is modifying its marketing programs in certain regions out of respect for his request for privacy. How long the change last will depend on Woods’ decision about returning to professional golf, the company said. Woods has been a pitchman for Tag Heuer since 2002. The company said it will continue to support Woods’ charitable foundation, which is based in Irvine, Calif. After initially standing by Woods, the company moderated its support Monday by saying it would assess its relationship with the world’s highest-earning athlete. The Swiss company, a unit of luxury goods empire LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, is at least the third sponsor to back away from Woods since his admission of extramarital “transgressions.” Consulting firm Accenture dropped the athlete Sunday, saying he was “no longer the right representative” of the company’s values. Gillette, a unit of the Procter & Gamble Co., said over the weekend that it won’t air ads for its razors that include Woods or include him in public appearances. AT&T said it is evaluating its relationship with the golf superstar. Woods has taken an indefinite leave from golf to work on repairing his marriage after numerous allegations of infidelities that surfaced following a November car crash near his Florida home. Tag Heuer did not specify in which markets it was curtailing use of Woods’ image.

Once a golden boy for advertisers, Tiger Woods is now toxic material for them. Because of the mire of shizz he is seeped in these days, the products that he is attached to are looking a lot less attractive to consumers … it makes total sense that his big name sponsors would want to run like hell in his opposite direction. This mess is far from over … the fallout is only just now becoming more clear. I expect Tiger still has at least a few more rocky months ahead. Which advertiser will be next to give him the heave ho?

Scandal!! Britney Spears was spotted in close company of her agent/beau Jason Trawick this week in SoCal and you’ll never guess what they were caught doing! Well … it’s not really scandalous at all. Britwick were seen driving around LA this week but on one of the couple’s outings, sweet Britney nodded off while Jason drove … hence the “sleeping with Jason” thing ;)

After all this driving around in SoCal, tho, Britwick packed up their bags and made their way to NYC where they will, presumably, spend the holidays together. The couple arrived in the Big Apple earlier today — after the jump, check out photos of their arrival at JFK Airport …
