Here is our first look at at the first poster released for the next sequel film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Altho The Twilight Saga: New Moon *just* opened in theaters, the promo push has already begun for the third film in The Twilight Saga movie franchise … behold:

I actually first saw this poster hanging at the movie theater when I went to see New Moon a couple of weeks ago. It’s not all that exciting but, then again, it is just a teaser poster. It does feature the film’s title logo very well, tho! Much like the first poster for Sex and the City 2 which we saw earlier today, this poster is meant to grab your attention … which I think it does quite well. New reports on Eclipse reveal that the film will make its debut in IMAX theaters (along with traditional movie theaters) when it premieres in June of next year. Still no word on production of the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn … so I guess we’ll have to content ourselves with news about Eclipse. What do y’all think, Twilighters … do we like this poster?

Britney Spears may have done a bit of Xmas shopping on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA last night but she spent part of the day before chillin’ (literally) with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James on a beach in Santa Barbara, CA … here are a couple of pics:

As pretty as this scene looks, I bet it was cooooooold on that beach. It’s been damn chilly here in SoCal this week and I know it’s even colder by the ocean. Even still, I’m sure Britney enjoyed spending this bonding time with her sons. It’s just a shame that her agent/beau Jason Trawick couldn’t be there to help keep her warm … I guess he was bizzy with actual work or something like that ;)

Earlier today we saw photos of a leather-clad Victoria Beckham making her way OUT of the UK headed for France but before she left the country this morning she was in attendance at the 2009 British Fashion Council Awards which was held at the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand in London, England last night. Here is a particularly stunning photo of Vicki B. on the red carpet last night and a few less impressive celebs who were also in attendance at the awards ceremony:

Victoria Beckham was the center of attention at the 25th annual British Fashion Awards. The former Spice Girl turned-mum-turned-fashion designer stunned guests and media in a sparkly black outfit from her own collection. Speaking of the event, Victoria said: “I love British fashion. I love the way people in Britain will really push the envelope, and it’s always really exciting to see who’s going to be the young British designer.” Other guests at the prestigious show included supermodel Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin Le Bon, British fashion designer Henry Holland and Christopher Bailey who also received the award for Designer of the Year. This is the second time the Yorksire-born designer has received the honour after previously winning it in 2005.

Blah … considering how boring everyone looked on the red carpet, I doubt any of these attendees went home with any awards. I gotta hand it to Vicks, tho, she looked fabulous on the red carpet. You’d hardly know that she was lookin’ all glum at a funeral earlier in the day. Fashion diva! She looked amazing … everyone else, well, they prolly should’ve just stayed home.

Hold on to your Manolo Blahniks and get ready to raise your Cosmos high in the air … here is our FIRST LOOK at the first movie poster for the new sequel film Sex and the City 2 which is due out in theaters next Spring:

While I don’t love the gold sunglasses, I do like the look of the poster overall. It looks very glam and it is deffo eye-catching. When last we saw the SaTC ladies on set, they had made their way to Morocco to film scenes for this sequel. It’s unclear if the cast has wrapped film production but since those photos were snapped in October, it’s feasible that they have wrapped production. Sex and the City 2 will hit theaters in May of next year … are you ready to Carrie on?

Uh oh! It would seem that the untarnished image of the Walt Disney family has been marred due to the arrest of Patrick Disney Miller, grandson of the late Walt Disney himself. According to reports, Miller got busted on suspicion of illegal gun possession … which is a really un-Disney-like crime, if you ask me. No mug shot has been released from Miller‘s arrest and I could not find one photo of the man … but I did find a pic of a shop window at Disneyland that bears his name. Walt Disney’s grandson has been arrested on suspicion of illegal gun possession, according to Los Angeles police. Patrick Disney Miller, 42, was taken into custody about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday after police served a search warrant at his home in Woodland Hills, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations unit. Miller was booked for “possession of a firearm by a felon” and selling ammunition, Herrera said. According to the sheriff’s department, Miller was released late Wednesday night on $70,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 31 in Van Nuys. Information on Miller’s felony background was not immediately known.

Funny enough, I was just the other week thinking about how we never hear about the Disney heirs either good or bad. The Disney family has done a great job of staying pretty much out of the public spotlight … until now. If we’ve learned anything from the seeming “perfectness” and “privateness” of Tiger Woods, it’s that no one is perfect and no one can remain private once their dirty laundry comes to light. As far as embarrassing heirs go, I think the Hilton family has got the worst of the bunch … but now we know that the Disney‘s aren’t as perfect as we may have thought. HMMM. I wonder what other skeletons are hiding in those Disney closets.

Yesterday started off like a regular, run of the mill sort of day … and then something magical happened … a press package for 24 season 8 arrived in my mailbox containing, among other goodies, a DVD with the first 4 eps of the new season of 24! Altho the new season will not premiere on Fox until January 17, 2010 (in a 4-hour season premiere spread out over 2 nights), I will be lucky enough to preview the new eps at my leisure!!

After I screamed my head off with glee, David and I stepped out for dinner at Century City and I also found myself an amazing pair of leather Converse All-Star shoes designed by John Varvatos. Yes, folks, it was a great day, indeed.

Today, David flies back East to attend a friend’s wedding so I’ll be dropping him off at the airport in a few hours. Tonight, I’ll be seeing The Lovely Bones at a screening at the ArcLight. That’s my Thursday, how’s your’s lookin’?

Yesterday we saw photos of a celebratory and a mournful Victoria Beckham as she surfaced in various parts of London, England (after arriving in the UK the day before) and today we get to see photos of Vicki B. making her way out of London bound for Paris, France. VB stepped out earlier today rockin’ a very stylish leather trenchcoat and a fetching fedora … lookin’ very much like a spy trying to slip out of the country:

LOL! Yes, she really does look like a fiercely stylish Carmen Sandiego in this outfit, don’t she? As I mentioned above, VB has already made her way to Paris (via Eurostar train) where she will presumably be handling some of her fashion line biz. No word on when she will be returning home to her children in SoCal but I imagine she won’t remain in Europe for long.

On Tuesday we got better acquainted with Mike The Situation Sorrentino, one of the new stars of MTV‘s reality TV show Jersey Shore, and today we are getting to know fellow castmate Paul Pauly D Delvecchio a little bit better as well. Pauly D, who famously showed off his penis piercing to female castmate Jenni Jwoww Farley on the first night Jersey Shore aired on MTV last week, spoke with E! News‘s Marc Malkin about his new-found fame … and his willingness to show off his penis piercing to the whole world in Playgirl:

Yo, Pauly D is ready to strip down! Don’t know who Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio is? Well, you should. The 27-year-old Rhode Island DJ is one of the stars of Jersey Shore, MTV’s new reality series about a group of self-described “guidos” and “guidettes” sharing a summer house together in Seaside Heights, N.J. It was within just the first two episodes that one of Pauly D’s biggest secrets was revealed when he and fellow housemate Jenni “Jwoww” Farley were caught on film getting very cozy after a night of partying. Looking down his pants, Jwoww discovers Pauly D’s manhood is pierced. “I wasn’t expecting that it was being filmed,” Pauly D told me earlier today. “But I don’t mind. LMAOOO!! MTV really outdid themselves by casting this bunch of self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes. I’ve only been exposed to one night of their shenanigans and I’m already in love with all of them. I have no doubt that Pauly D will drop trou should Playgirl come callin’. Considering how disappointing Playgirl‘s collaboration with Levi Johnston turned out to be, they’d be wise to sign up this new upstart who is very willing to show the whole enchilada … er, or should I say the whole cannoli. Nicole Richie, who just a week ago announced production of a new TV show, is once again sharing with readers of her official blog. Nicole posted a batch of supercute family photos which include her children, with Joel Madden, Harlow Winter Kate and Sparrow James Midnight (who was born in September) … behold:

Aren’t they the cutest lil’ family? This is the first time we are seeing little Sparrow James since he made his worldwide debut in the pages of People magazine in October. In these pics it kinda looks like Nicole cut off all of her hair … but her long hair may just be tucked behind her back. Honestly tho, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nicole did cut off her hair and went back to her shorter bob ‘do. After all, both Britney Spears and Taylor Swift are rockin’ new hair’dos these days. In any event, short hair or long, Nicole looks exceedingly happy with her lovely family. I imagine Nic/Joel and their children are really looking forward to sharing the best Xmas ever this year :)
