In Touch Weekly magazine is reporting today that Giorgio Armani is planning to make Taylor Lautner, who will be hosting Saturday Night Live this coming weekend, the new face of his budget fashion line for Armani Exchange. According to the mag, Lautner’s people are denying that any offer has been made … officially … but the mag cites sources that say a deal is on the table. Could Lautner really become the new face and, well, body, of Armani Exchange?

Taylor Lautner is poised to become the next face of Giorgio Armani. According to a fashion insider, the Italian designer is trying to sign the Twilight hunk for a new ad campaign for fragrances, as well as for his more affordable line of clothing, A/X Armani Exchange. “Giorgio has offered Taylor a deal rumored to be worth millions for the ads,” the insider reveals. And although a rep for Taylor denies the story, the insider adds, “Taylor is flattered and really considering it.” If he does take the job, he’ll have some big briefs to fill. Soccer star David Beckham sent huge crowds into hysterics when he turned up at Selfridges & Co. in London to unveil his underwear ad. Taylor completely bulked up to play the werewolf Jacob in New Moon. “I went from a men’s small to a men’s large,” he says.

A men’s small to a men’s large, eh? I guess it does sound as if Taylor Lautner is grown enough to wear the pants of a full-fledged fashion spokesmodel. You know, A/X is the perfect fashion line for Taylor … it’s not too huge and yet it has ties to one of the biggest fashion houses in the world. This means he would be in the perfect position to graduate into a bigger Armani ad campaign somewhere down the line … who knows, in a few years when he’s nice and totally legal he could step into David Beckham’s shoes, well, undies and do a major worldwide underwear campaign. Taylor’s campaign photos, should he become the spokesmodel for A/X, will be showcased in shopping malls around the country … perfect for his target audience. This whole thing just sounds really perfect … I guess we’ll see if this report turns out to have some merit. I’m all for a collabo between A/X and Taylor Lautner … what do y’all think?

Pink reader Malcolm came upon a behind the scenes video from Lindsay Lohan’s photoshoot for Muse magazine (which, as you may recall, we got a sneak preview of HERE and HERE earlier this week) … but what is really cool about this video is that it has been set to the music of none other than Britney Spears. Here are a few screencaps from the vid:

Seriously, this Muse spread is the gift that keeps on giving. In all honesty, this behind the scenes video is much sexier than the still photos are … it is deffo worth a look. The vid is set to Britney’s song Blur and, surprisingly enough, it fits the video very well. Be warned before you watch the vid, tho, it may be NSFW considering there is an errant L. LOL! I think it’s hilarious that Kellan is talking about “layers” and “bits and pieces” in this article. Not for nothing but I am very suspicious that these quotes actually came from his mouth. The photos are hot, tho … I bet the lovely bird in this photo didn’t mind being straddled by Mr. Lutz in that last photo, not at all. HMMM … I wouldn’t mind seeing more fashion spread photos featuring Kellan Lutz … so long as he refrains from making any commentary.

So … last night was not one of my funner evenings, let me tell you. Because of early planning by my adviser, I had to start doing number crunching for next years taxes and … well, I’d rather shove hot pokers into my eyeballs than rummage thru a year’s worth of bank statements and adding up seemingly endless lists of numbers. Fortunately I only have to work on estimates but its nights like last night that remind me why I hate tax season so much :( Blah.

I was able to take a break to watch the new eps of 90210 (good) and Melrose Place (sooo good) last night:

At last we found out who killed Sydney Andrews … and why. All in all, I’ve been very pleased and entertained by both 90210 and MP this season. I’m really looking forward to the new eps to come in the new year.

Tonight, David and I had plans to go bowling with a couple of newlyweds that we know and love but those plans had to be postponed. Instead, we’re gonna do an impromptu Date Night thing so that we can enjoy our last night together before he jets back East again to attend a friend’s wedding this weekend. As cold as it is here in SoCal (50s, BRRRRR) it’s gonna be hella freezing back East. I’ll make sure we do something really fun for him :)
