"Three is a charm / Two is not the same"
Lindsay Lohan Does ‘Muse’ Magazine

Lindsay Lohan, that sexy little minx who we learned over the weekend spent a fun night at Jason Segel‘s place, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Muse magazine. For the racy photospread, photographer Yu Tsai convinced L. Lo to pose in a ménage à trois setting … which, I’m guessing, didn’t take a lot of convincing to do:

Lindsay Lohan will probably shock her fans in a raunchy new ménage à trois magazine photo shoot inspired by Kate Moss and Johnny Depp’s fiery relationship. The starlet posed in bed with handsome male model Petey Wright, and then invited sultry dancer Sofia Boutella to join the party during the shoot at LA’s Chateau Marmont. Lohan poses as Moss, who dated Depp for four years until 1998, in the provocative, 18-page shoot for Milan-based Muse magazine. Other shots show Lohan, who’s been linked with a string of men after splitting with gal pal Samantha Ronson, flashing a breast and romping naked in bed with Wright. Photographer Yu Tsai told Page Six: “I was always fascinated by Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, and when I asked Lindsay to do a shoot, she jumped at the chance. It was all about her being sexy, channeling Kate from the ’90s. When I suggested adding another girl, Lindsay invited Sofia, who is a friend and a dancer for Madonna. “The three of them were very sensual and provocative, but Lindsay understands this piece was created not for any sensational value other than artistic integrity,” Tsai said. “There was never a discussion about pushing the boundaries. She was totally comfortable with the nudity as long as it had artistic integrity. When you see her nipple, it just happened in the moment. She was playing the role of Kate Moss — you’re at a party and you are with a guy you really love and another girl. She is stunning and radiates in the pictures. Lindsay is incredibly focused where it comes to her career and fashion is her passion. It’s raw, it’s exposed, this is her at her best. She told me: ‘I want to make this iconic.’” The magazine is out tomorrow.

Well … I don’t know about iconic but the pics can be described as racy, I suppose. In all honesty, the photos aren’t anything we haven’t seen before … Linds really does only have, like, 3 facial expressions. After the jump, check out a few of the pics from the 18-page spread — be warned, tho, Lindsay does bare her (flat) bum in one of the pics (as does the hottie male model) so it may be kinda NSFW for some of y’all …

Tom Ford's coming out party
‘A Single Man’ Premieres In NYC

Fashion designer turned movie director Tom Ford was joined by a gaggle of his closest friends, including his movie stars Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Nicholas Hoult, at The Museum of Modern Art in NYC for the NY premiere of his debut film A Single Man. Based on the novel by Christopher Isherwood, A Single Man tells the tale of a single day in the life of a middle-aged gay Englishman who works as a college professor in Los Angeles and the drama he experiences in that one day. Thus far, the film is getting a lot of great press and if the reviews are any indication, will be a great success. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals at the premiere event and some deets about Ford‘s vision of Isherwood‘s novel:

Tom Ford has ruminated about death ever since he was a small boy growing up in Texas. It was the flip side to his early, genetic fascination with beauty. “Everything in life is bittersweet for me, because when I see something beautiful, I also see it aging, old, dead, gone,” he says. “I was very aware of mortality. I was very aware of my time on the planet.” Still today, almost every morning he awakes and wonders, “If I die tomorrow, what am I going to miss?” Ford speaks quickly and hypnotically, words rolling out with a seductive, almost aromatic intensity. Intimations of death swirl around his directorial debut, “A Single Man,” based on the Christopher Isherwood novel, which opens Friday. Set in 1962 Los Angeles, it is the lushly beautiful tale of a suicidal, gay college professor ( Colin Firth) contemplating his last day on earth in the wake of the sudden death of his longtime lover … “A Single Man” has a mesmerizing sensuousness. “Everyone keeps saying to me, ‘Everyone is so beautiful. Everything is so beautiful.’ I didn’t even notice that!” he says. “That’s just the way I see. That’s the way I think.” This said, Ford’s visual panache is put to the service of a story far from the ephemeral catwalk. “Midlife is when you get to the top of the ladder, only to realize you’ve had the ladder against the wrong wall,” he says, describing his loss of a certain identity after leaving Gucci. He sees the film as a personal reaction to the prevalent culture of more, of almost always thinking life will improve with a new job, or a new pair of shoes. Ford related to Isherwood’s theme of “the true self observing the false self going through the day,” and grafted details of his own life onto the story, including George’s obsession with ritualistic grooming. The details of his proposed suicide are based on the suicide of one of Ford’s relations, who killed himself in a sleeping bag so as not to make a mess. Then there’s the relationship between George and his former lover, played by Julianne Moore, who’s forever disappointed George is gay. “That’s my relationship with a lot of women in my life,” Ford says. “I’ve had very heterosexual periods in my life. I’m perfectly sexually attracted to women, but I fall in love with men. Unrequited love is always heartbreaking, especially on the side of the person who feels the love and it’s not returned” … “A Single Man” touches on the … seize-the-moment, life-affirming theme, though now it’s refracted in a softer, more reflective light. Three decades after he first read Isherwood’s book, “A Single Man” popped into his head again as he was driving to work one day. A film devotee since he was a kid (with passions for Kubrick, De Sica, Hitchcock and Bette Davis), he’d been thinking about making a film for some 15 years. Ford wrote the screenplay himself (although credit is shared with the writer of an earlier incarnation, David Scearce). Unlike the book, which is essentially a long interior monologue, the cinematic George is contemplating suicide, an addition made by Ford to give the film more plot. The film is frank about gay sexuality, although there are no sexual scenes, he says, because the story is about love.

I’m very excited to see this film for myself. I read the Isherwood novel in graduate school (among other Isherwood novels) and remember really loving the book. I’m not very familiar with Ford‘s film work for Gucci but I have no doubt that his fashionable eye is capable of crafting beautiful visuals to accompany the beautiful but stark tale. As I said, I’ve only read great things about this film … I’m very curious to see if the all the love being heaped upon this film measures up to the reality.

Baby's first Xmas
Heidi Klum Takes Lou Sulola To Visit Santa Claus

Heidi Klum, who showed off the first photos of her newborn baby girl Lou Sulola just a couple of weeks ago, took her littlest child and her eldest child (daughter Leni) for a visit with Santa Claus over the weekend. Heidi, her mother and her daughters did a bit of Xmas shopping at The Grove here in LA this weekend and made sure to swing by Santa’s temporary home in the shopping center for a visit … here are a couple of photos:

She’s just eight weeks old and wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a pair of Louboutins and Jimmy Choos. But Heidi Klum’s daughter Lou Sulola Samuel experienced her first shopping experience over the weekend. The 36-year-old supermodel spent the day shopping at the Grove mall in Los Angeles with her oldest daughter, Leni, as well as her youngest. Heidi made sure Lou was wrapped up well, covering her in a pink fluffy blanket – underneath it could be seen that the newborn baby was wearing a pink hat and matching baby-gro.

You gotta love the fluffy pink blanket. It’s really very precious that little Miss Lou was born just in time to partake of the Klum-Samuel holiday celebrations … I suspect this year’s holiday season will be the best yet for the family. With the arrival of Lou, their family is finally complete. I doubt Heidi and Seal will be sharing the fun photos with Santa but you can imagine that they are the cutest.

Also, Brit shows off her bday gifts
Britney Spears & Jason Trawick Seemingly Live At Fred Segal

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick‘s birthday week may be over but that doesn’t mean that she and her agent/beau are slowing down their celebratin’. Britwick spent much of the weekend together and were spotted making another visit to Fred Segal in West Hollywood, CA for the second time in a week. As you may recall, the couple did a bit of shopping at the boutique on her birthday last week and the pair returned to the store this weekend to do a bit more shopping:

Clearly Britney is in need of more bras … one hopes she picked up a few on this most recent shopping excursion. In other Britney birthday updates, the couple made their way to the boutique driving around in her new Birthday BMW. It was previously reported that Britney received a white BMW convertible car for her birthday … which turns out may be one of those fancy schmancy hardtop convertibles. After the jump, check out a photo of Britney‘s new whip and see what other gift she may have received for her birthday …
