P. Diddy Moonlights On The Home Shopping Network

Mo' money, Mo' money, Mo' money
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

It looks like Sean P. Diddy Combs’s desire to make as much money as possible knows no bounds … after all, he seems to have no problem resorting to appearing on the Home Shopping Network to peddle his wares in order to make a quick buck. Here is a screencap of Diddy’s appearance on HSN recently as he tired to sell consumers on his line of celebrity fragrances:

P Diddy stepped into the shoes of a home shopping channel presenter to shift bottles of his fragrances. The rapper, who has a $300million urban empire which includes a hip-hop record label, two restaurants, a clothing line and a marketing company, Blue Flame, sat on the sofa for two hours selling his new cologne. The 40-year-old was a natural on the Home Shopping Network in the US and came up with plenty of sales patter. Referring to the I Am King gift set with a free bag, he said: ‘I carry my computer in that bag. We made that exclusively for you guys. You can’t find it any place else.’ He added: ‘You don’t have to pay for this bag. This is my personal gift to you. You can tell your friends that I gave you that bag for Chirstmas and that’s the truth.’ And he went on to insist: ‘This is not a celebrity fragrance. This is a designer luxury fragrance. I went into the fragrance lab and designed this to a particular taste level. I have a very sensitive nose.’ As he pushed fragrance I Am King, he spoke to fans live on air and told Diana from New York: ‘I wish I could just jump through the screen and give you a hug girl.’ He proceeded to give the air a hug. He insisted the scent’s name did not refer to him and his lifestyle but was intended to represent the ‘king in all of us’. ‘If we as men act as kings, we will respect our women as queens,’ he added. ‘This is not about it smelling like me. This is about smelling clean, smelling sensual. It’s for the modern man.’

LMAOOOO! This is hilarious!! I guess it really is still all about the hustle for Mr. Combs. Trust me, I am not mad at the man … he seems to work really hard for all of his success … even if that hard work means he has to hang out on HSN to sell a few bottles of perfume. After the jump, check out a short video of Diddy’s recent appearance on the Home Shopping Network

Jude Law & Sienna Miller Hookin’ Up Again?

Walk of Shame
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Yesterday we learned that former lovers Jude Law and Sienna Miller were spotted enjoying a quiet Thanksgiving dinner of pizza and wine together last week in NYC and now we learn that Sienna spent the night at Jude’s place last night as she was seen scurrying from his apartment this morning in an attempt to avoid being photographed. Now, just because she was running like a bat out of hell from his apartment this morning and he followed after a short while later lookin’ like the cat that ate the canary doesn’t necessarily mean that they did the deed last night … but it sure looks that way:

I suspect it’ll be some time (if at all) before we see these two out and about in public together but I also suspect we’ll be hearing about these attempted secret rendezvous’ in the days and weeks to come. Knowing how these two operate, it makes perfect sense that they might be rekindling their romance in the City that Never Sleeps. First comes dinner, then comes the walk of shame … any guesses what will come next?

Tiger Woods & His TWO Smashed Out Windows

A whole lotta damage
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Earlier today we learned that Tiger Woods posted an official statement on his official website (the second in as many days) in regards to all the drama going on in his life these days but right now we get to see the official police photos of Tiger’s smashed car … which may escalate the drama even further. You may recall that he got into a pretty serious fender bender in the wee hours of last Friday morning when he first smashed into a fire hydrant and then his neighbor’s tree. Those hits caused pretty severe damage to the front end of his car …

… but curiously, the back windows of BOTH sides of his car were also smashed in — as if they were bashed in by someone, for example, wielding a golf club. HMMMM:

Official police photos of Tiger Woods’ crashed car were released Wednesday afternoon and they show that rear windows were smashed on BOTH sides of the vehicle. The damage to the black Cadillac SUV is extensive and shows that the golfer’s one-car smashup at 2:31 a.m. November 27 was more dramatic than he has indicated. What is most interesting, though, is the fact that the rear side windows are smashed on both sides of the car. Tiger’s wife Elin is said to have smashed a window with a golf club to help pull him out of the vehicle after he crashed. But there is nothing in the police report that indicates either side of the car was blocked, raising the question of why did Elin smash windows on both sides?

Now, because the rumor is that Tiger and his wife Elin were arguing and she may or may not have scratched his face (police aren’t sure he injured his face in the accident as no blood was found on the steering wheel) it’s entirely possible that she chased him out of the house with one of his golf clubs and smashed in his windows as he drove away. The couple told the police that Elin used one of Tiger’s golf clubs to get him out of the car after he crashed it … but does that mean she smashed the windows on both sides in order to get him out of the car? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. It is my personal belief that the couple got into an argument over those cheating allegations (of which new proof came to light earlier today) and she banged up his car before he crashed into the fire hydrant and tree. I doubt we’ll ever get confirmation that that is what happened … but all of this circumstantial evidence seems to be pointing in that direction … I mean, right?

Friend Of Dorothy

The TV Guide
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Last night David and I made our way to the Cinemadome at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood, CA to see The Wizard of Oz on the big screen. It was the first time that either of us were able to see the movie in a theater, just like audiences did 70 years ago when it was originally released. To say it was a magical experience would be an understatement:

All I kept thinking was how mind-blowing that movie must’ve been for movie-goers 70 years ago who were able to see a movie in COLOR for the first time. I’ve always loved how the movie starts out in black & white (well, sepia actually) and then EXPLODES into color when Dorothy lands in Oz. I cannot even imagine how spectacular that feat must’ve seemed when the movie was released originally. We had such a blast. I would always watch The Wizard of Oz on TV with my parents around Thanksgiving … but being able to see it in the Cinemadome was truly the best way to see this film. I also spent a lot of time thinking about the story from the musical Wicked while I watched the film last night. Both stories are so filled with magic and wonder … they will live on for all time. If any of y’all get the chance to see The Wizard of Oz on the big screen I urge you to do so … it’s a wonderful experience that you won’t soon forget.

After the movie, we made our way to The Abbey to meet up with Darion and his parents who are visiting SoCal for one night only. We snapped some photos — check ‘em out after the jump …
