Watch: Leighton Meester Featuring Robin Thicke, ‘Somebody To Love’
Sexy Time

Last month we got to see a bunch of behind the scenes photos from the set of Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester‘s new music video Somebody to Love. As you may know, Somebody features sexy crooner Robin Thicke on vocals and, therefore, is also featured in the video … here are a few screencaps:


You know, anytime you throw Robin Thicke into the mix … it’s gonna be sexy time. Leighton and Robin have some of their own scenes in this video but it’s the scenes where they are together that really make the vid work … at least for me. I think I’m gonna need to hear a few more songs from Ms. Meester before I form an opinion on her music … tho, if her plan is to collaborate with a bunch of hot, already established singers (first Cobra Starship, now Robin Thicke) then I think I get the picture. What do y’all think of this video … was it worth the wait? Does it make you want to hear more of Leighton‘s music?

    I like the song a lot and the video is HOT. I’m a huge Robin Thicke fan though so I’m not sure if I’m in love with her or if it’s just him…..

    Song is alright…this video was pretty disappointing though. Leighton is just crawling around like an 80′s madonna in a wedding dress. Laaame. Couldn’t they have thought of at least a small story with a little more substance?

    Leighton is at the top of my list of who I’d go lez for, but we haven’t heard her sing at all and I’m not crazy about this video either. She sounds a lot better in a song called “Body Control” that came out a while back.

    The blue eye shaddow was a bit distracting. I think she is such a pretty girl, but the make up is wearing her in this video.

    Uh, he’s hot. I saw his wife on Ellen the other day and I know they are just “acting” but I wanted to slap Leighton for rubbing all over him. The song is lame and she looks so fake singing in the video.

    The song doesn’t do it for me at all. I like the psuedo-Blondie thing that Meester is doing, but I’m totally not into what Thicke adds to it.

    She does look super cute in the video though, except for those awful nails.

    I think she has potential… but as far as this song I wish she actually sang her parts instead of rhythmically talking them. I’ll reserve judgment for when I hear more of her music…
