On Thursday we got our first look at Janet Jackson‘s Make Me music video, the single off her new greatest hits collection Number Ones, in a behind the scenes video from her video shoot. Today we get to see the final product, the Make Me music video in full:
This video is the PERFECT way to promote a disc of Janet‘s biggest hits … it is such a throwback to the classic Janet Jackson that we all know and love. The dance routine is very Janet and does hearken back to her hey day as a superstar … the setting even feels like an anteroom to the setting featured in her Scream music video with her late brother Michael Jackson. The more I hear this song, the more I like it. The video helps a lot … I love the look and feel of the whole thing. I suspect that JJ will perform some of her big hits when she opens the American Music Awards on Sunday night but methinks she may also throw in a bit of this song as well. See, it’s videos like this that remind me why I love Janet Jackson so much.

A Janet/britney collaboration would be PERFECT. I seriously don’t see how they say britney resembels Madonna, because for the past 12 years i’ve been see-ing Britney holding it down like Janet (dancewise,& Entertainment). And if Lip-sync is gonna be brought-up they both doing the same thing they hardly don’t sing live. Britney is an ICON, her main Teacher has always been Janet, dont’ see why they bring up Madonna.
