Tiger Woods Gets Into An Argument, Accident, Sh*tstorm Of Drama
Yesterday the news quickly spread that pro golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident near his home in Florida and immediately people went into a frenzy of worry over his injuries. But as the story’s smoke cleared, as it were, a better picture of what went down began to emerge and the accident took a back seat to the drama that is said to have unfolded before the accident took place. As succinctly as possible, here’s what went down … Tiger and his wife Elin Nordegren got into an argument over allegations that he had been cheating with a woman named Rachel Uchitel:
Apparently, the argument escalated and Elin scratched up Tiger’s face and chased him from their home with one of his golf clubs. As Elin beat his car with one of his clubs as he was trying to drive away, Tiger first crashed into a fire hydrant and then into a nearby tree. Elin then smashed out the car’s windows with the club and dragged Tiger from the car (because he was unconscious from the impact) before paramedics arrived on the scene and took him away to the hospital. Lawd. Drama. Since all of that craziness took place, new details from Tiger’s alleged affair with Rachel have come to light:
In the wake of reports that Tiger Woods was involved in a single car accident on Friday, November 27, more details have been exposed on the avid golfer’s alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel. Star Magazine claims to have been informed by Uchitel’s friend Ashley Sampson that Uchitel first met Woods when she was still working as an event planner and the director of VIP Operations for the Big Apple hotspot Griffin. It was Woods who initiated the affair by offering to show Uchitel a “good golf grip,” Sampson reveals further. She goes on stating, “In June, she told me, ‘Tiger Woods is blowing up my phone messages!’ Tiger thinks Rachel is staying quiet about their affair, but she told everyone. She told me, ‘I’m having an affair with Tiger Woods. We’re in love!’ ” Besides, “I’ve heard him while she was talking to him on the phone and I recognized the voice,” adds Sampson. “I said, ‘Rachel, he’s married,’ and she said Big (bleeping) deal! It’s Tiger Woods. I don’t care about his wife! we’re in love!’ ” Uchitel herself is reported to have been overheard telling friends that she and Woods exchanged sex text messages. Speaking of the matter, Sampson tells Star Magazine, “He’d ask Rachel things like, ‘What are you wearing? What do you want to do to me? What do you want me to do to you?’ She even read me text messages that Tiger sent her that said, ‘I miss you so much! I love you’.” Greater than that, Rachel is said to have been telling her friends that Woods has promised to divorce his wife Elin Nordegren to be with her. Another source tells the publication, “I know for a fact that Tiger and Rachel got together for four days in Los Angeles. She talks about their affair all the time. She thinks Tiger is going to leave his wife and marry her.” Though reports of the affair have been mounting, comment is yet to be made by either Tiger Woods or Elin Nordegren. The athlete and the former supermodel have been married since October 2004 and are parents to two children; son Charlie Axel Woods and daughter Sam Alexis Woods.

I admit, I was among the worried folks concerned for Tiger’s well-being after I heard of this accident but as more details from that whole incident come to light I cannot help but shake my head and tsk tsk tsk the whole matter. It sounds like the real crux of the drama happened before the accident took place … were it not for the fire hydrant and tree that got in his way, we may prolly have never even heard about the fight with his wife. I’m happy to know that Tiger is doing “fine” and his injuries are minor but all of this dramatic mess is far from over. Did Tiger really cheat? Will the couple get divorced now? Will wifey Elin be charged with assault? When will this all be over????

@ Kendra: I was just thinking, that wife of his MUST be crazy too, I know I’d be pissed if my hubby cheated but I wouldn’t be smashing windows outta cars… I hope someone looks into the safety of those kids…

@ Kendra, I completely agree with you. Don’t get me wrong, what Tiger did was absolutely horrible, but I don’t think his wife should have used violence to get back at him. None of them are innocent they are all at fault.

Hey now, just cuz a woman tries to assault her man for cheating DOESN’T mean that she’s the type to attack her kids! If a guy wants to cheat on me, he BETTER be READY to get assaulted!!!
He’s a bastard for doing that.. but ESPECIALLY for being a public figure and doing it…. cuz now everyone knows about it. Also: we don’t know.. he may have said something that REALLY pissed his wife off. I know “violence is not the answer”… but it’s not like she whacked him in the face with the golf clubs.. just his car windows.

I say if you cheat on me, the least you’re gonna get is the windows smashed out ur car! (loved the Glee ref). Seriously. I would never hit my husband (or my son, obvs) but I WOULD beat the shit out of his car if he was cheating on me. Absofu^%inglutely.
Having said that, I would feel really bad if he drove into a tree and was knocked unconscious in the process. :)

@PixiesBassline – I’m just wondering if it would be ok for you to get assaulted if you cheated on your man..Or if allegations had been out there that his wife was cheating on him and he cut her up..Would that still be ok?
Personally, I don’t think either sex should lay a hand on the other..If it happens, they should be held accountable..It just sucks that it seems to be more accepted if it’s a woman beating on her man! I know how things can get out of hand, so that’s when you break things..Not people! ;)

I would only believe it if I saw it with my own eyes, and even then it’s none of my bloody business. What is it with people nowadays… If celebs are seen interacting with people OTHER then their significant others – Well, hell! Cheating! It seems that being friendly with each other is unacceptable & from now on there will be no more hugs between friends… or TMZ will punish you – BAD CELEBS!

OK so he cheats on his wife and family and then gets in a big fight with his wife over it and then crashes his new car into a fire hydrant and tree and passes out and the wife smashes the window with of all things a golf club of his. Now tell me this is not perfect Karma. He even cuts his upper and lower lips, and blood comes out of his mouth like the lies he told his wife. Or his cut lips he kissed his mistress (Rachel Uchitel) with. The Tiger is just a Cub to me now, not much of a man to two time his soul mate. Do we see divorce coming next? For SURE! He will hit another hole in one soon being such a superstar.

Right now, this is all just speculation. I don’t trust Star magazine at all, so I can’t put any credibility into this “friend”’s story. If she did assault him, she should be charged with a crime. You can’t allow someone to put their hands on someone else like that.

Wow I thought you guys are the same ones that are saying Chris Brown is a scumbag, should have gone to jail, and should lose his career for assaulting Rihanna, but it’s okay for a woman to assault her cheating husband.

The police have a double standard on this as well. What would have happened if Rihanna had refused to report the incident and Chris had refused to speak to them. I can tell you they would have said too bad, charged him anyway. Not accepted them turning them away at the door.

@Jaded: There is a huge difference between the brutality of what Chris Brown did to Rhianna and this chick scratching her husband up a little, regardless of the reason.
Also, how is cheating not considered as devastating, WRONG, and mentally/emotionally abusive as physical assault? What if she was to catch something because of his infidelity? Most STD’s are MUCH harder to treat in women.
And I don’t even know how the safety of their children got brought up in this. The man was SCRATCHED and chased a little; hell, she was probably crying and trying to hold his face and he pushed her away, so she banged up a car…. HE put their entire family in turmoil because he wanted to have a little piece of *ss on the side. Flipping out on the person who has just betrayed you (publicly, mind you) and put your family’s future in jeopardy is not indicative of child or even of repeated spousal abuse.
I’m married and before my husband, every other man I’ve ever been with has cheated on me. If that trust was betrayed it’s understood that hubby would be at the very least a little scratched up, and he agrees with that sentiment. I cannot even imagine a world where I would cheat on ANYONE rather than just leaving, but IF I did, I’d expect to get my *ss handed to me. F*ck “violence is never the answer”…. CHEATING is never the answer! And anyone who does cheat deserves to be scratched up a little, or at least have the sh*t shaken out of them.
Go hug your kids and kiss your significant other, and think really long and hard about what you’d do if you lost all of it before you compare this to a drunken *sshole choking and biting his girlfriend over a text message.
