So I just came back from the cinema and I really enjoyed it, it’s definitely much better than Twilight.
There were some annoying screaming girls and there were also some scenes which were supposed to be serious but they weren’t and everyone was laughing, but still I really enjoyed it. The soundtrack and the acting is definitely better. So now I just have to wait for a DVD release ;)

When I read that on Twitter last night, I totally checked my tix just to make sure! Whew, I am still on track for a 4.20 showing (only in Vanocuver would thay have a 4.20 showing)…..That sux, but is really quite funny!
Pity Amber wasn’t a Vamp on Buffy, she could’ve totally scared someone into giving up their tix.

Enjoy the movie! I’ll compare our reviews 2morrow.

Soo. I bought my tickets for the 12:02 tickets three weeks ago. We went straight from our night class to the movies. We walked around the plaza from nine to ten thirty. We go to find seats and had to lie and say our older sibling had to watch us so we could all be in the same theater. Then we found out they were hold all films till every theater was ready. When the product commercials came one they were upside down and backwards. Then we finally start the movie at 12:30 and it was so quiet and everyone only screamed when Jacob took his shirt off. I loved this movie. I can not wait until July :)

I’m french and I’m totally disapointed with all of this story, I feel bad for the Ireland team, fell bad for Henry (the one who touch the ball) must be horrible for him right now, They should replay the game, it would be fair for Ireland.

I saw the 11:59 showing last night. I was really shocked- the theater was PACKED but everyone was so respectful. You could tell we were all true fans. No one made a peep during the movie unless it was a laugh/oooh at the right times. I also saw no one out of the hundred or so packed in their seats, ever get up to go to the bathroom- that’s true fandom.
I, personally, LOVED New Moon. I thought it was way better than the first movie and followed the book to a T. There were some slight changes but nothing that stands out to me as negative.

Every Twilight fan needs to see it!

Sorry for you Trent,

I went Wednesday (in France)
I got lucky, half empty theatre (thanks to school the day after and the big important soccer game!)
No screaming or anything, love the wolf pack part, actually like the movie until the Volturi scene, and at the end, even if I like it in the book, I was almost laughing on the last line.
Love the few “funny” lines, and hope for more in the next movies.

Trent, I’m so bummed for you. I was excited that we were “going together” to see NM. :) I saw a 9:30pm showing through a promotion hosted by Nordstrom. It was crazy, there were TONS of screaming 16 year olds… and it was a ridiculously fun film. Definitely had its Velveeta moments (which were still endearing), but they spent their money wisely and the look of the film is great. And, good lord, there are some good looking boys in Forks!!

Trent I’m so sorry that happened, I was looking forward to your review! I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by it. Still some corny lines in the script, but I felt Taylor Lautner did a good job and managed to play down the cheese factor. Somehow the wolfpack chemistry seemed better then the Cullen’s chemistry too lol. I enjoyed their scenes, as short as they were.

I went to a Twilight Moms fundraiser event in NYC last night and got to see NM a few hours before it officially opened. They auctioned off a dinner date with Peter Facinelli, and he and Kellan Lutz showed up during the auction! It was so nice of them to take time out from the actual premiere to do something for a good cause (Alex’s Lemonade Stand).

The movie was really good too…much better than Twilight IMO…

I got lucky last night. The theater in our town had been selling tickets for a few weeks for the 12:01 am viewing. I was out to dinner with my fiance and I casually mentioned about wanting to see the movie. We drove over there and the screen said they were sold out but he still waited in line and sure enough when he got up there they still had tickets! We got to the theater about 45 mins ahead of show time, got seated at 15 mins till show time, then 12:01 am the movie started. Overall the movie was good but not as thrilling as Twilight. I am still intrigued and will see the other two movies. Hope you enjoy!

Ok Trent here is my nite last nite. Bought the tix about a month ago for the midnite showing. Waited in line for a good seat at 9:30pm, finally got into the theater at 10:30pm, got all settled in and cozy ready for 12:01am, then at 20 min left of the movie ( when miss Fanning makes her grand entrance), we all see the film bubble up and disintegrate! So, from what i saw looks like a job well done, they stuck the book better this time than in Twilight. I only wish i could see the ending! O well i got passes to return, and this time ill take my son.
