As some of you may be well aware, The Twilight Trinity made up of Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson spend most of the last week doing promo work at photocall/premiere events in Europe but this weekend they have returned home to SoCal to gear up for the big Hollywood premiere that will be happening in Westwood, CA tonight. Twilight fans in the area have been gearing up as well as hordes of rabid Twilighters have already begun to line up for prime spots for tonight’s premiere event. Here are a few pics of The Twilight Trinity as they made their arrival at LAX Airport and some deets about tonight’s much-anticipated premiere:

Fans of “Twilight” Sunday lined up in Westwood for Monday’s premiere of “New Moon.” Some fans came from as far away as Australia to be part of the vampire mania. The first person in line drove from Arizona and arrived Thursday morning. By Sunday morning, hundreds were camping out for Monday’s premiere at Mann’s Village Theatre and Bruin Theatre, and hoped to get a glimpse of the stars. The movie, based Stephanie Meyer’s series of “Twilight” novels, opens nationwide Friday. It stars 23-year-old Robert Pattinson as heartthrob vampire Edward Cullen; Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan; and Taylor Lautner as werewolf Jacob Black. The first film, “Twilight,” sold more $383.6 million in tickets worldwide and producers hope “New Moon” will outdo it. More than a week before its release, “New Moon” had sold more than four times as many tickets as “Twilight” at MovieTickets.com at the same point in the sales cycle, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Chances are that if you are reading this then you are prolly not waiting in line for the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon tonight … and if you’re not in line by now, it’s prolly too late to get a prime spot. Nonetheless, the Hollywood premiere of New Moon will take place tonight and will surely satisfy the ardent fans who braved the cold last night in order to get close to these Twilight stars. I believe there will be an NY premiere event later on in the week … but tonight is all about Hollywood. Are y’all ready?
