Rihanna Releases A Music Video For ‘Russian Roulette’

Earlier this month we got our first look at Rihanna’s music video for her second single Wait Your Turn (The Wait is Ova) which was released a couple weeks after we got our first listen of the first single Russian Roulette from her new album Rated R due out on November 23. Today we get our first look at the video for Russian Roulette, here are a few screencaps:

My, my … this is quite a video. It’s like a mini-movie. In all honesty, the song did not immediately grab me the first time I heard it but it has since grown on me. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to preview Rated R in full and I am really loving the whole album. I can’t wait for all y’all to hear the album as well … I’m dying to hear other people’s opinions. As far as the video for Roulette, I love it. It’s great to have Rihanna back on the music scene again. So … what do y’all think? Do you like this vid?

Back on the scene again? She barely left. I wish she would have taken a little more time. She juiced her last album for all it was worth, i sorta wanted a break. That said.. her albums pretty good (oh- the whole thing leaked, so we can in fact hear it). I dont think it has lots of potential singles, but as whole it works.

its not a good sign that shes already putting out another video…and has 2 more singles floating out there….im not seeing good things for this album at all. none of her singles are catching on, theres 4 out there right now…2 have videos…and still nothing.
this video is ALOT better then the last one.
theres a site that has a 30 sec preview of each song on the album….and russian roulette has to be the best song on there…and thats not sayin much.

*hmm my last post didnt post so i hope it doesnt show up twice.*
this video is ALOT better then the last.
but i dont see this album doing well. i found a site that had all the songs posted…and really this is the best song and thats not sayin much,
it doesnt help that in a months time shes had 3-4 singles…and 2 videos come out and nothings grabbing.
the cd will sell…cause its her…but i dont think its goin to as well as they wanted.

I don’t know…I’ve loved everything off her new album that I’ve heard so far…the song Hard is getting a ton of play on Satellite Radio and honestly I can’t wait to grab this album.

@nicole Her songs are catching. Russian Roulette is # 9 on the billboard 100. Hard, her second single will enter the billboard 100 next week. I must admit, I didn’t have high hopes, but this album has shocked me. Cold Case Love, RR, Hard, Rockstar 101, Te Amo, this album is really great. I like it better than GGGB. So, for me its a must buy.

Mine didn’t post either. Oh well. RR is at #9 on billboard, so its already a hit. Hard is gonna be on billboard next week. Her album is awesome, with hit after hit. It beats GGGB. This may be her best album.

I love Rhianna I think that she is so talented I thought the video was brilliant not that into the song I probably won’t download it but I wouldn’t change the station if it came on the radio. Im excited to hear more of her songs from this album

My oh my! I love the song (and the Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Over) and also Hard) but THOSE LEGS AND LIPS!!!!
My respect and like for Rihanna has grown a lot this past year. Not from the incident, but something about her has really grown on me. I know this song isn’t a dance song but i would really love to see her dance more often. I know she can and i would love to see her do a dedicated dance choreography music video.

I really liked SOS but thought the video could have been much better. EG: Dancing. I hated the Pon De Replay stuff. Good Girl Gone Bad was good, there were some crap songs. But her image etc.. was good but i still wasn’t fond of her. I think after becoming her own personality and i LOVE this rough/edgy and real “I’m effing Rihanna” attitude, i just reaaaaaally like her.

Reading some lyrics off Rated-R and a lot of people are gonna say she is so cocky and has no right. But she actually does. She had one of the biggest selling albums of 07/08 worldwide. Umbrella is one of the biggest selling songs of the decade. She’s won a Grammy and has the most #1 hits of the decade and the second most Top 10 hits.
