Miley Cyrus Enjoys A Rockin’ 17th Birthday
Last year Miley Cyrus celebrated her Sweet 16 birthday at Disneyland (which, funny enough, took place on Gay Days weekend), this year she celebrated her 17th birthday at a bar in NYC … what a difference a year makes. Altho Miley turned 17 on Monday, she was surprised with an early birthday party a few days before while she was in NYC on tour. Miley Cyrus turned 17 years old on Monday, November 23, but she had a surprise birthday party last week in New York City. Family and friends joined her for the ’80s themed bash staged at Canal Room on Wednesday, November 18. Her “The Last Song” co-star and rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was among the guests, People reports. Inside the soiree, the birthday girl was treated to a performance by the cast of Broadway’s “Rock of Ages”. She after that blew out candles on a custom-designed cake created by Buddy Valastro, the star of TLC’s reality show “Cake Boss”. To match the theme of the party, Buddy topped off the vanilla cake with Madonna-inspired lace, a stage and accents in purple, which is Miley’s favorite color. “They didn’t want a girly girl cake,” he revealed, adding that the cake “totally fit the theme. It was really awesome.” Concurring with him, Miley’s mother Leticia “Tish” Cyrus was quoted as stating her famous daughter “loves the ’80s”. “The fashion, the big hair – she thinks it’s so funky,” so claimed Tish who helped planning the surprise birthday party for Miley.
As much as I’m not the biggest Miley fan ever, I do think it’s cute that she wanted an 80’s themed birthday considering she wasn’t even alive in the 80’s. I suppose she deserves props for choosing to wear hoochie cut-off jean shorty shorts for the occasion … let’s just assume she was dressing for the party. Considering she celebrated 16 at Disneyland and 17 at a bar … any guesses where she will be celebrating her 18th? I’m gonna guess Vegas … what do y’all think?

I’m 16, and I can’t imagine EVER wanting to dress like that for a birthday party. Especially one that included my family. I’ve lost all respect for that dirty slut, and I’m glad that her Hannah Montanna stint is coming to an end so Disney can wash their hands of her. I love the music (that is written FOR her to sing), hate her personally.

Parents need to be more pissed at this “role model” than Adam Lambert. He hasn’t pretended to be a little Disney princess only to hooch it up at the Kids Choice awards etc. Seriously. She is WAY more disturbing than AL.

I’m The same age as Miley and people really need to cut her some slack. The average birthday party amongst people in my age group as usually getting trashed and high in waaaaaay sluttier outfits than this. Her antics are nothing out if the ordinary compared to todays normal teen, which is sometimes inappropriate but that’s just how our culture has influenced us to be these days.
P.S. I prefer ace of cakes over cake boss but I gotta say this is one of the best cakes from buddy. His cakes are usuAlly pretty sloppy

I would have to agree with some of you on where her next party will be. I can see it being Las Vegas, a strip club, or maybe Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion. I can almost imagine her posing for pictures with Hugh as they also celebrate her soon to be released Playboy photoshoot with her dad looking on in pride.
