this is disgusting. but at the very least, now dina can’t pretend nothing is wrong with her daughter when she is obviously aware of the problem and has been for some time. hopefully someone will finally help that poor girl. :/

It’s shocking to be so betrayed by your father this way. Even if Lindsy’s going down a rough path, to have your own father publicly do this to you….is beyond words. If I were her, I would never speak to him again. He’s pathetic. He’s not a father is any sense.

He needs to get over it. The courts are never going to award a conservatorship to him, and let’s face it if he thinks he’s getting paid out like Jamie Spears did he’s got the wrong daughter she doesn’t have it anymore.
Clearly, Lindsey needs help and someone that will be beyond the bullshit and force her to turn her life around, but I think doing this is just going to push her farther and farther into the world that she seems to be drowning in.
I really hope that someone responsible will step up and do something before she accidentally or on purpose kills herself.
The girl has talent she just needs to find it again.

Sounds like he’s trying to do a Jamie Spears and take over his daughter’s life. Only, Michael doesn’t have Lindsay’s best interests at heart and only wants to fain for himself. Who does this to their child? Who exposes them to the world like this. This girl has enough problems without having her own father pulling crap like this. No wonder Linds is screwed up…her parents have a lot to answer for.

He is a jerk, agreed. But I do think this highlights the real challenge facing parents of adult addicts. How do you get someone into rehab that is killing themselves, when they punch you and have the legal ability to run away? I think they are very bad parents, but at the same time, I do have sympathy for the situation they are in. I have no idea what I would do in their shoes (but it sure wouldn’t be releasing audio recordings of private conversations!).

I’m sorry but he claims to be a born again Christian yet does something like this. Where is compassion? Where is the humility? Where is his shame? I have people in my life who are Christian and have been through terrible situations but never would do this if they were in the public eye. Its a cruel act out of bitterness – something very unloving.

It’s just so hilarious to me that he seriously thinks his actions will make him out to be the better person. From what I’m hearing, people think he’s a bigger d-bag than ever! And we all sympathize – even a little – with Lindsay and Dina. He has accomplished the exact opposite of what he intended and hurt his family in the process. Idiot.

The word douchebag seems to be a little too complimentary for Michael Lohan.
This is just ridiculous. Lindsay does indeed need help, but this is not the way to go about it. Dina Lohan needs to call Daddy Spears for some much needed advice.
