Anyone looks like that when they’re not posing … I hate the way the media purposely picks out photos of females that are ‘unflattering’.
Mariah was a twig at the beginning of her career – to imply that she should still be a twig (20 years later) is twisted and dangerous.

she looks alright standing. it’s just squatting and the last picture… not so much. her posture and the angle the pics were taken makes a lot of difference. i think the video will look much better than the still shots.
Shan, didn’t her husband marry her when she’s this size?

It is absolutely TERRIFYING how many people here are calling her big. Big, really? Try average sized. She looks normal, and I hope an airbrush team DOESN’T ‘solve’ this, it would be nice to see some women who actually look like women and not mannequins.

Ladies, your guy fell for you thin, and as much as he says you still look great, trust me hes pining for the days before you packed on the pounds! i feel bad but when i see the first picture i cant help but think of a cow mooing after eating some grass….but only because of her face. for someone who is 40 she looks really good but maybe if she dressed her age it would flatter her curves more. im still tubby from giving birth so i wuld know lol more looks better

There’s just no excuse for her to be dressin like she does especially like she did on daytime TV on Ellen this week, she is too old and too big to be wearin clothes that are too many sizes too small and thigh-high garters. Kids are out of school by the time Ellen is on and school-age girls watch that…she is making one really, really bad statement for herself by that and lord help any young girls that think it’s okay to dress like that. YUCK and double YUCK her attitude.

She is suffering from the ‘I am big and if I don’t wear something skimpy I may look even bigger’ disease. Jessica Simpson suffers from the same disease. It is classic for women who have been thin most of their lives, but are now large and don’t know how to deal with it.

There is nothing wrong with having a full figure. What is wrong is not dressing in a way that is flattering to said figure and that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to wear a mu-mu from Lane Bryant.

She should take a page out of Jennifer Hudson’s book to learn how to dress for her shape because she really is beautiful, however, the way she dresses doesn’t show that off at all.

I myself, being of the fluffy persuasion, would be the last to criticize a woman flaunting what g-d (and in my case, cookies) gave her…but that first pic is just NOT okay!! Popping a squat on the beach is one thing…taking a poop on the beach? quite another! And that’s what Mimi looks like she’s about to do! I’m sure the opportunistic paparazzo is going to have a field day and I hope she can rise above that b/c she’s a beautiful woman. She could do without the short shorts, but I don’t follow stupid fashion ‘rules’ either!
