*SPOILERS* This is just my opinion and I hope I don’t offend anyone BUT The Twilight Saga, in a way, promotes that sex, without marriage, is bad. It doesn’t exactly say that but the undertone is there and it may have to deal with the fact that Stephenie Meyer is Mormon which there’s nothing wrong with. However, why would Stephenie Meyer put the idea out there that Bella and Edward have sex when they’re married (which is old fashioned) IF THEY’RE NOT GOING TO WEAR CONDOMS!?! I mean, sure, Edward didn’t know but it kind of contradicts the whole idea of safe sex. I know Edward didn’t know anything about “protection” but still…
