- The ABC game show Wipe Out results in a contestants death.

hey trent – i think it’s misleading and not very good reporting to say that “ABC gameshow Wipeout results in a man’s death.” if you read the article, you’d see that he had a pre-existing condition that may have led to his death, and he was only complaining of knee pain after the show. also, he had just run a marathon before the show, so he was in good shape. nothing has been proven yet so i feel like you’re jumping the gun. before we know all the facts, you should refrain from declaring wipeout at fault, in my opinon.
@Lauren — I didn’t say the show killed him but it did lead to his eventual death. The article is very clear about what happened, as you clearly state — I’m not reporting the story, I’m linking to a report of the story.
Ahh with his new haircut(color), Kellan kind of looks like Seann William Scott. XD It’s so cute and dorky at the same time. I like it :)
that stripper is a moron. “i didnt think anyone would find out” ……… except i went to the national enquirer and told them every juicy detail then took a lie detector to prove its true .. “im sorry”
“The death of Tom Sparks, which was first reported by an online publication, may have been triggered by a pre-existing blood condition”
Sorry Trent, but you’re wrong. You shouldn’t say his appearance on ‘Wipeout’ led to his death.
“Sparks was running the first segment of the obstacle course on Oct. 19 when he began complaining of knee pain.”
The pre-existing blood condition was the problem and the knee pain could have, and probably would have occurred regardless of where he was at the time.
@F — OK.
Wow, to the two people ganging up on Trent about the link to the death of the wipe out contestant, go complain to MSNBC and their title for the article.
Just because the contestant was perfectly healthy enough to run a marathon doesn’t mean that WipeOut was the best show for him to be on. Marathon =/= Wipe Out.
the condition may have been pre-existing but it caused a problem while he was competing on the show, hence the reason for Wipe Out + Dead contestant necessary in the articles.
About Daniel Radcliffe smoking weed…so what if he did? He’s a 20 year old guy who’s free to do what he wants. It might be illegal but the world needs more people to stand up and say that it isn’t such a bad thing.
@Jerf — Um, he’s not actually “free” to do what he wants if the act is illegal.
Well thats relative to the situation.
Rosa Parks contributed to a Law change by breaking it.
There’s a common mistake many people make, when they believe “illegal” means “wrong”.
@Jerd — It’s not relative, it’s factual. I never said it was wrong, in fact, I offered no commentary on the matter at all.
