Hangin’ With NPH At LV For ‘GQ’
Last night David and I were invited to the Louis Vuitton store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA to attend a GQ magazine party celebrating LA Men of Style. The store was shut down and converted into a party space for invited quests to mix, mingle, drink and do a bit of afterhours shopping. The whole place was all done up in bright colorful lights:
There were a few celebs in attendance last night, including party host Neil Patrick Harris … who I finally got to meet last night :) After the jump, check out my pic with NPH and find out who else was at the shindig last night …
Now, I’ve been a huge Neil Patrick Harris fan for years so I was thrilled to finally get to meet him last night. While he played host, folks like Kellen Lutz, Gilles Marini and others (um, Ron Moss from The Bold and the Beautiful lookin’ like he walked in off the street from 1987) were in attendance to party … and shop. David and I also ran into new friends Emma and Josh who we first met at Alyson and Alexis’s Hallowe’en party on Saturday night. NPH was really cool and David and I got to chat with his boyfriend David Burtka as well. It was a really fun night … mostly because we got to spend more time with Emma and Josh. Unfortch, I was too bizzy socializing to do any shopping (boo!) but David and I did have a great time nonetheless :)
Tonight, David and I will be attending the LA premiere of the new film Dare which stars Emmy Rossum and Zach Gilford. Dare was written by our friend David Brind so we are really excited to see the movie. Should be another fun night in Hollywood :)

ooh soooooooo jealous! NPH comes across so intelligent and insightful in interviews. I’d imagine hes an interesting person to chat with. I’m glad you finally got to meet him, but have you gotten around yet to actually HIMYM? You’ve talked about intending to before….its def worth getting the season 1 DVD’s and starting there. I probably quote NPH’s character at least once a day. I’m that awesome (Barney joke)

they have those lights in the front of their store in the galleria here in dallas, i think they’re way more intriguing than anything else that can be found in that store!

I have to admit Trent, I love reading the TV Guide and especially when you are at some fun LA event where you get to rub elbows with the celebs. :) I’m always living vicariously through you….so thanks!

I used to watch “The Bold and The Beautiful” so I find the Ron Moss mention kind of amusing. Any other comments about him Trent, other than that he appears to be very retro in his fashion choices? He always kind of reminded me of a brunette Ken doll.

I can’t wait until I have the chance to see Dare, I loved the short and from the trailer the movie looks just as good :)
