Courtney Love Posts A Crazy New Rant On Facebook
Welp … she’s at it again. There used to be a time when Courtney Love would post crazy missives on her official My Space profile blog, then she took her craziness to the frantic world of Twitter … now, she’s taken to posting crazy rants on Facebook cuz the girl can’t help herself. In her latest post to the world, C. Love goes off on her ex-boyfriend Edward Norton and makes a serious allegation against Jamie Spears, Britney Spears’s father. Yes folks, THIS is how Courtney Love celebrates Thanksgiving:
Though she abandoned Twitter in a Miley Cyrus-led exodus, Courtney Love is now posting her barely-decipherable public missives at her Facebook fanpage. You’d be forgiven if you missed the memo about her new online home, but after today, we’re thinking a lot more people will know about it — especially the lawyers for Edward Norton and Britney Spears. Love has begun hurling accusations at both celebrities, and it isn’t pretty. First up is ex Edward Norton, who Love essentially accuses of mishandling the finances of Kim Cobain, Kurt’s sister:
IF something happens to me, NO my will is NOT at Greenberg Glusker, that will is FORGERY…i created a new one per lISA FERGUSONs attorney who cannot be FOUND but that needs altering as it has Edward in it and Norton doesn’t have a CLUE how evil his own BM is he wont fuck a future Senator/Film Actor but hell purposfully refinance Kim Cobains Property i bought her cash outright, for the 12th time using a phony address due to some fuck up on some Bogus “ART FORM OF THE CH 13” R TODD used, leavng KIM COBAINS PROPERTY REPOS…SESED< “you have an hour to get your things” wtf did Kim Cobain do to YOU… so its best to never tell let alone kiss and trell i m shcoked at myself i never kiss and tell unless im really mad at an ex for like LOSING 300,000$ of my kid hes supposed to be paternal abouts money, oh yeah Norton just LOST 300k
More incendiary, though, are Love’s anecdotes about Spears:
britneys dad molested her , imagine the father that molested you owning you for slavery while your forced to sing songs picked for thier sexual content every night, insane right? i have it on First had authority, and fight as hard as she is and does she still didnt pull that card, its a pride thing i can relate to, However they want to play dirty, lets go, Im SO not affraid of the little trolls who hit this when i was fucked up who are called lawyers. lets GO.
Good thing she isn’t afraid of them, as she might be hearing from them soon.
OY! I suppose I should be thankful that C. Love is back to her trainwreck ways but all of this is just too sad to get any enjoyment out of. Courtney herself thinks that everything is A-OK, nothing at all the matter. She also writes:
btw i am clean and sober and have been for almost 6 years everyone knows that but some blogging assed idiots that cannot accept it, sorry, and my “rants” other than some spelling idiotic mistakes are BRILLIANTLY coherent unless your being a dickweed i made the mistake of googling myself,.
What a mess … here’s hoping she straightens herself out soon … if this is what she sounds like when she’s “clean and sober” then she’s worse off than I feared :(

Actually I have always wondered this of Britney’s dad. It’s about the only thing that explains 90% of her and her parents behavior. Jessica Simpson and parents too.

Cinnamon I see NOTHING that supports your theory? J. Spears has not been publicly obsessed with his daughter’s boobs like Joe Simp. Plus C. Love does not even know this family. Maybe their actions have more to do than with Jamie being an angry drunk for years & Britney & her mom making bad choices because of it.

I don’t know much about Courtney :ove, to be honest. I know she was married to Kurt Cobain when he died.And I know I think she’s an absolutely AWFUL musician. But when she does stuff like this, she comes off, to me at least, as a D-Lister who’s desperately trying to cling onto her 90s grunge hasbeen status. In all of her rants, practically, she harps on celebs who are big, RIGHT NOW. I think it always just reeks of pathetic jealousy… so… yeah.

I am disgusted by this. Jamie Spears would NEVER harm his daughter. I hope he sues Courtney for slander. Now Joe Simpson on the other hand is a huge creepster.

There was a theory over at jezebel.com about the Jamie and Britney Spears allegations. Most commenters over there seemed fairly convinced that what Courtney Love was alluding to was metaphorical abuse – meaning that he sold her out to the public for fame and money.
Of course, who really knows, because one could argue the above or also argue that Britney ultimately had control over her career. Honestly, I would take what Courtney Love says with a gigantic boulder of salt.

@ xerx Fail logic is failed Jamie never wanted Britney to be a star in fact he was so against it he refused to move into the mansion britney bought her parents, he called it the dollhouse and lived in their old house instead. Britney being in the spot light was all her mother’s doing.

Umm wow. I used to think that her rants were really amusing. Now – I find her more mentally unstable and just these are just plain sad. Let’s hope she gets herself some help – ASAP.

I was merely rehashing a theory over at jezebel that I thought was a fairly decent interpretation of Love’s posts/tweets or whatever, which are pretty much nonsensical to me. I’m not saying that what she writes is correct but the metaphor seemed slightly more acceptable than outright abuse accusations, which are serious and should never be made – nor taken – lightly. I personally hope that what she wrote isn’t true, because it seems as if Love has a fondness for “the boy who cried wolf”-style declarations.
IMO Jamie Spears and the entire family, though they’ve all had troubles, seem like decent people and don’t appear to do anything other than support each other with love and respect. I guess the joke’s on us all, for paying attention to Courtney Love!
