Behind The Scenes Of Janet Jackson’s ‘Make Me’ Music Video Shoot

ABC news takes us on set
November 19th, 2009

Back in August, with the relaunch of JanetJackson.com, we learned that Janet would be releasing a new greatest hits collection titled Number Ones which would include a new song titled Make Me. Today, courtesy of ABC News, we get our first look at the music video for Make Me in a new behind the scenes video shot on the music video set … here are a few screencaps:

Ahhh Janet … you’ve been away for far too long. It’s good to have you back. The song is just OK but I’m really excited that she will be releasing a new album of new material next year. I’m hoping this music video will be fun … from the looks of this video, it appears it will be a fun, great video (and, to be honest, the song is growing on me every time I hear it). After the jump, check out this behind the scenes video in full …

Janet Jackson fans might want to take note that she will be opening up the American Music Awards LIVE this Sunday night performing an 8-minute medley of her greatest hits … just in time for the release of her album Number Ones. Very smart, yes?

I am partially with @Nicole on this.. I am a HUGE Janet Fan and want to love this song sooo much but its just not growing on me.. I like it… But not LOVE it.. Like I usually love Janet songs.. but its kinda giving me the “Call On Me” feeling. Just not quite there but almost!

  5. Amanda Says:

I never really bothered buying her last two albums because they just didn’t seem to produce any good singles. She said in the interview that she’s going back to her old sound, so I’m really hopeful for this one.

I used to really love Janet when I was a kid. Her smile in the first picture reminds me of the Escapade days! I REALLY loved Rythm Nation, and a lot of her work after that. After the Velvet Rope, she started to lose me. I really like it when she does happy fun music, as opposed to a forced sexual thing (though I loved If, Throb, etc.). Her voice just goes well with the light stuff.

I’ve loved her ever since she showed me her Nip!!!..I wanna be her Baby!!!!
