Levi Johnston, who arrived in NYC, NY earlier week to prepare for his nekkid photoshoot for Playgirl magazine, has decided that he is going to fight for shared custody of his only begotten son Tripp Easton Mitchell (borne of Bristol Palin, eldest daughter of the former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin). According to Johnston, the Palin family don’t want to let him anywhere near his son … so his only recourse is to take them to court:

In his custody fight for son Tripp, Levi Johnston says he’s up against a powerful foe: Sarah Palin. Johnston, 19, claims the former vice presidential candidate has been part of an effort to keep Tripp away from Johnston by exerting influence on 19-year-old daughter Bristol, who is Tripp’s mother. “She has a big impact on what Bristol does and thinks,” Johnston tells Entertainment Tonight. “Bristol looks up to Sarah. I don’t know why they just don’t want me in his life.” But Johnston insists he doesn’t fear Palin as he gets ready to sue for joint custody. “She ain’t nothing,” he says. “Just because she ran for vice president and was the governor of Alaska, doesn’t intimidate me. Sarah has no legal thing on Tripp, she’s just the grandmother.” He adds: “By the end of the year we’re gonna go to court for joint custody. I’m just done with it. When there’s a kid involved you ain’t walking away.” When Johnston announced his intention to sue for custody, Palin’s camp did not respond to requests for comment. But her lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, told Britain’s The Guardian on Oct. 30, “Other than noting that Tripp’s father is always welcome to visit his son, we are unable to respond to these allegations as it is inappropriate to discuss child custody matters publicly.”

Um … yeah, but before Levi Johnston goes to court to fight for custody rights, he’s going to pose nekkid for Playgirl magazine. I don’t know that that is the wisest course of actions if he is truly intent on proving to the court that he deserves custodial rights to his child but … I wish him the best of luck. And speaking of that Playgirl shoot … Levi spoke with Life & Style magazine about his readiness to drop trou for Playgirl. Yesterday was the 40th anniversary of the beloved children’s TV series Sesame Street and I have one more bit of anniversary fun to share with all y’all … residents of Sesame Street (and the humans who provide their voices) were on hand at a special street renaming ceremony in Dante Park in NYC, NY this week to honor the beloved series. 123 Sesame Street will temporarily be a real live street in New York City:

Now when someone asks you, Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street? you can tell them to head down to Dante Park. It’s funny, when I was a kid I never really thought of Sesame Street being in NYC, I figured it was a place in my hometown. It never occurred to me to go find it in person, I just knew it was “there” and I could see what was going on thru my TV set. While I think it’s a great honor to have a real street renamed for Sesame Street (even if only temporarily), I don’t know that it really matters to kids if the street really exists or not. It’s a neat idea for adults, tho. I hope the real life Sesame Street sign is still there the next time I visit NYC … I think that is something I’d like to see in person now that I’m all grown up.

Stop the presses!! What have we here!! At long last … confirmation of a secret illicit romantic affair … or just an innocent sign of loving friendship? New photos of Twilight co-stars (and long-rumored secret lovers) Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have come to light that show the friends (lovers?) holding hands as they walked the tarmac to their waiting airplane in France last night (you may recall that R. Pattz and K. Stew were in Paris, France yesterday to make an appearance with Taylor Lautner at a photocall/screening event at the Hôtel de Crillon). Because the entire Internet has been watching them for any sign that they are actually involved romantically, these photos are sure to whip up the rabid Twilighters into a frenzy:

There were fans at the airports, outside their hotels. Fans who waited for hours in the cold. They wore tribute clothing, carried posters and signs, and raised a chorus of cries – “Rob-ert!,” “Kris-ten!” Too bad none were on hand to witness what lucky photographers saw: actual off-screen physical contact between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Fresh from a 10-hour flight from Los Angeles, Pattinson, Stewart, and Taylor Lautner arrived in Paris Monday and checked into the luxurious Hotel de Crillon, before going out for a late-night dinner – where they happened to run into Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. By the time the New Moon crew were ready for their press conference at noon on Tuesday, hundreds of fans surrounded the hotel. All part of the job, Pattinson told one interviewer. “It’s when I’m in my real life, when I’m not working, when there’s less security around me, that it’s worrying,” he said. “When some girl shows up on my doorstep … In a way, it’s funny because it’s completely new to me. Growing up that wasn’t me. I wasn’t someone who had a girlfriend.” But it certainly appeared things had changed by 10 p.m., when the group boarded a private jet for the next of their European tour. “[Pattinson and Stewart] were the last ones to leave the terminal to board the plane,” says one photographer on the scene. “Out on the tarmac, he took her hand, like young lovers. They stopped and looked at each other, their plane, the scene. They seemed very calm, in love. They continued holding hands boarding the plane.” Meanwhile, two other New Moon hotties were caught holding hands. Peter Facinelli, who plays the patriarch of the movie’s vampire clan, posted a fun shot accompanying the Tweet “Co-stars caught holding hands. Guess this picture proves everything.” Yep, proves you and Kellan Lutz have great senses of humor.

LOLOLOL!! This is *just* the sort of the thing that drives Twilight fans crazy … but yeah, I’m convinced. Hand-holding = torrid love affair. To be honest, I’m way more excited about seeing the photo of Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz holding hands. Yesterday we got our first look at a movie poster from Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland which was released on Facebook and features the White Queen character. Today we get our first look at another Wonderland poster newly released on Facebook … but this one features the main character in Wonderland, Alice herself:

It’s unclear if more posters will be released to fans on a daily basis like this but you can be sure that there will be more fun releases like this to come in the months leading up to the film’s release. I understand from a Pink reader (thanks Mr. Gyllenhaal) that a 3D trailer for Alice in Wonderland is showing in front of Disney‘s A Christmas Carol in theaters right now. The fact that I hate the Christmas Carol story and am not very fond of Jim Carrey means that I will prolly not see the movie for myself … but I would LOVE to see the Wonderland trailer in 3D on the big screen. It might be worth going to see Carol and then just leaving before the movie even starts. In any event, I’ll continue to watch the official Alice in Wonderland Facebook page for any new goodies to come. I’m really looking forward to seeing future posters … which character would you like to see released next?
