We are mere weeks away from the theatrical release of the much anticipated sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon (the film has already begun its worldwide premiere promo tour) but Yahoo! gives us a sneak peek at a scene from the film to whet your appetites as we await the film’s release. In a vid clip made available here, we see Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) taking on the Volturi vampires as they threaten to harm his beloved Bella Swan:
It looks like Edward Cullen just can’t catch a break. After his being attacked by Jacob, New Moon’s resident heartthrob – played by Robert Pattinson – now has to defend his mortal beloved from the vampire world’s ruling elders, the Volturi. In a new clip on Yahoo.com, Edward, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Alice (Ashley Greene) face the wrath of elders Aro, Caius and Marcus, played by New Moon newcomers Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower and Christopher Heyerdahl. “She knows too much, she’s a liability,” warns Caius, signaling Aro to send the Volturi guard into action. As Demetri (Charlie Bewley) restrains Alice, grabbing her by the neck, Edward pounces on Felix (Daniel Cudmore). But no match for the ancient vamp’s strength, he is sent hurtling through the air. Felix then reaches up and slams Edward into the ground, cracking the floor beneath him and his cheek! The fight moves on to the big screen, when New Moon opens on Nov. 20.

Those of you familiar with the story because you’ve read the book know the events that led up to this scene and know what will take place just after … those of you who have not read the books and have no idea what’s going on, well, you’ll just have to wait and see what happens when The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens in theaters on November 20. Wow..More slow motion..I guess they didn’t use it enough in the first movie..Oi..I really don’t get the appeal of these movies and I’m usually a sucker (no pun intended) for vampire movies and books! But I’m sure people could say the same for my love of all things Harry Potter..To each his own..
So I am pretty sold this movie will be better then Twilight, I mean just that 45 second clip along with the one with Jacob and his family show how well made the effects in the movie are compared to the ones in Twilight. Also, I think I love the volturi XD
I’m getting pretty excited to see this movie now. Or you know, at least see the parts where Bella is threatened, Edward get beaten and of course the Volturi and werewolvish beings.

I’m a little confused by who walks by her after he calls for Felix, and then she gets grabbed….damn slow mo! haha. It looks very promosing though! They make great volturi. I know some people will sa it deviated from the book, but I think they spiced things up in an appropriate way.
I watched that quite a few times just because I like the way the guy whos playing Caius sounds when he talks LOL

Twilight may be entertaining etc… but it is by no means a great movie franchise. I mean the acting is just horrendous!

i find it hilarious that you people play into this shameful vampire movie crap they call Twilight, it just sucks the life out of everything cool about vampires and makes it into a packaged commercial product full of bad acting and crappy story line…
The clip is very exciting and I am super thrilled for the movie to come out…. I just hate when they add things that were not in the book at all. Its pointless.
