Last night David and I carved the pumpkins that we picked on our last Date Night outing … and we had a blast! David’s sisters Lara and Eden helped out immensely (they were great at scooping out all the pumpkin guts) and Eden baked up all the pumpkin seeds but David and I did the actual carving … behold:

David adeptly carved his design and I went old skool … it was really fun :)
After the pumpkins were carved, we took the girls to XIV for dinner … and ate our faces off. Sadly, the girls have already made their way to the airport and should be taking off for the East Coast any moment now. It was great having them here … hopefully next time they can stay longer.
This afternoon, David and I are going to a performance of The Laramie Project at the United Methodist Church in Hollywood, CA and then are meeting up with some friends for our weekly Sunday night hang session. Fun!!

second photo is FANTASTIC!
You guys are too cute! The jack-o-lanterns look great :D
@Trent – I go old school like you! It’s fun that way (and I have no carving talent!)
i love that mickey mouse shirt!!
I love the vintage feel of these pictures!
Your shirt is amazing!
Why is it that every picture of David I’ve ever seen looks like he just did a line of meth then was handed a Christmas present? It’s adorable, really.
LOVE the Polaroids. Great job on the Jack-O-Lanterns.
I love that you still take pictures with polaroids…. SO AWESOME.
wow, james p.p. that is an interesting analogy, lol. you two are sickeningly cute!
Very nice! By the way, I like you so much better than Perez Hilton. Every time I would read entertainment news on his blog, I would come away feeling pissed off because he’s so mean spirited. You have a lot more class. :-)
Is David’s pumpkin Zippy Boofus? When I was pregnant with my son we teased our then 6 year old twin brothers that we were going to name the baby Zippy Boofus. That was 16 years ago, and the poor boy still gets called Zippy sometimes. Good choice David!
