‘The Stepfather’ Premieres In NYC
Penn Badgely and his co-stars Amber Heard and Dylan Walsh, were joined by much of the Gossip Girl cast at the NYC premiere of their new film The Stepfather which took place at the SVA Theater here in NYC, NY last night. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals:
I believe this is Penn’s first starring movie role so we will soon know if he’s got the chops to carry a film almost all by himself. I don’t know much about Amber Heard’s work but I’m a big fan of Dylan Walsh (who plays Dr. Sean McNamara on Nip/Tuck) and I have no doubt he’ll play a great bad guy in this film. Penn’s costars Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick have already featured in their own big screen flicks (The Covenant and S. Darko respectively) so now it’s Penn’s time to shine. I hope he doesn’t disappoint … David and I have high hopes that this film will be a fun time at the movies. The Stepfather opens on Friday … I guess we’ll know soon enough if Penn’s got what it takes to thrill an audience.

FX used to show the original “The Stepfather” all the time. It was kinda cheesy, but I’m sure Dylan Walsh can definitely pull off the creepy guy feel in the new version. Can’t wait for Nip/Tuck to get started again! Woohoo!

taylor looks hot! people should just get over calling her the next courtney or copycat and all that crap! at least she isn’t as annoying as miley cyrus with her stupid disney channel goody goody 2 shoes attitude when really she’s a whore, and plus taylor can actually sing.

Amber Heard is going to be HUGE, so learn her name! She has been in a ton of stuff already like (The Joneses, Pineapple Express, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, etc.), but she will be in “The River Why” and “The Rum Diary with Johnny Depp”. The River Why is based on a book with a huge following, and she plays the female lead. She spends time in both movies in the buff, so I think Maxim will certainly notice her! Plus, she beat out women like Scarlett and Natalie Portman for the Rum Diary, and it is supposed to have some really challenging scenes in it.

Holy cow…I honestly didn’t realize he was in that because his performance was far from memorable. I love that movie and yes I’m aware I’m in the minority on that opinion. Perhaps I was distracted by the gorgeousness of Steven Strait and Taylor Kitsch

lyndyloo, I am not one of her people, but I could see where you would get that impression, tee hee! From what I have read she has a very bright future ahead of her. If she was stock, I would invest! They should start that…Instead of Fantasy Football, Fantasy Hollywood or something.

taylor looks like she’s one of the girls from “the craft”. gothic, but not even in a fashion forward way. girl is a hot mess.
